Dear Birthmother,

We are Jorge and Maritza. We would like to thank you for taking time to look at our website, which will give you a glimpse into our hearts and a snapshot into our lives.

The Beginning of Us
We met about ten years ago. We share the same dreams, beliefs and traditions. We married in August 2000.

Our Love for a Family:
After many failed attempts with infertility treatments we decided to fulfill our desire by adopting. We were blessed with a beautiful daughter. When we were told that we were going to be parents, our families gathered in celebration. Our daughter’s homecoming was one fit for a princess. The yard, the front door and even inside was decorated with welcome banners.

They opened their hearts to our daughter. Your child will also be raised around a loving family!

Our Belief:
We belong to a small community church, which we attend on Sundays. We believe we cannot do any thing unless God is in our hearts. We plan on raising your child with Christian beliefs.

My Loving Wife, Maritza
My wife is a genuine person with a big heart. One of the many things that attracted me to Maritza is the fact that family is so important to her. She is close to her family. She is a great mother because she has made it possible to work from home; she puts other people’s needs and wants before her own. She doesn’t let her view on things cloud her ability to understand other people’s opinions and feelings. She makes certain that our daughter is her main priority and does everything to make sure she never goes without. Maritza is everything that I envisioned when we were dating and even more now that we are married. It has taught me that sometimes my own personal interests need to take a backseat ride to what is important for us.

My Wonderful Husband, Jorge
He is a loving, kind and understanding father. Jorge loves children, which is why he dedicated himself to becoming a coach. He is a mentor and a father figure for many of his players.

He is a family man and prides himself on providing for his family everything that we need. He loves his family and spends quality time with them. He is very passionate about being a father and often the passion is exuded in how he embraces our players.

About Alexis
Alexis is our three year old daughter whom we adopted at birth. She loves animals, outdoors, and loves to dance! She is very energetic. She is involved in art classes, dance classes and swimming classes.

Alexis is a happy child and we are so blessed. She can’t stop talking about a baby brother or sister. Alexis speaks two languages: Spanish and English.  Alexis loves to help mommy cook and to watch sports with her dad. We always tell Alexis she came from mommy and daddy’s heart!

Our Hobbies and Interests
We love dining, baking, gardening, reading, running, dancing, swimming, taking long walks in the park; working out and taking care of animals, and walks on the beach.

Jorge loves going out for ice cream, playing basketball, watching baseball, swimming, fishing, boat rides and the beach. We love to travel, shop, and enjoy the outdoors.

Our Home and Our Pets
We live in a three bedroom, two bathroom home located in the suburbs. We are surrounded by lots of beautiful parks and farms. We have a beautiful fenced-in backyard with swing set, lots of outdoor toys, and a playhouse.

We have two dogs: Charley and Wally. Charlie a beautiful, chocolate-brown lab, and is a protective guardian to our family. Wally is a Shih Tzu; he is nine years old, and thinks he owns our home. He loves cuddling on laps.

Our promise to you is that your child will know about you. We plan to provide and love unconditionally. We promise to raise your child in a Christian home, where God is the center of everything.
