Dear Birthmother,
We are a traditional couple and have been married for nearly seven years. Most nights we go for a family walk before sitting down to eat. After dinner we play with our daughter and talk about our days.
About Us
We like trying new things, being active and living a healthy lifestyle. Ball games, rodeos, watching movies and having friends over are all some of our favorites. Both of us have always wanted to raise a big family and adoption was something we discussed early on. After an unsuccessful year of trying to have a baby, we turned our attention to adoption. We have cherished God’s path for our family to grow.
My Wife, Emily
What makes Emily so special is her caring spirit. She is a supportive wife and a dedicated mother. Emily fills her days spending time with our daughter and making our house a loving home.
She also finds ways to show her love for others by visiting and taking goodies to people from our church. Emily uses her creativity to decorate the house and has a knack for making things fit together well. She likes to read and shop and do just about anything together as a family.
My Husband, Josh
Two of Josh’s qualities that stand out the most are his endless patience and considerate nature. He is quiet, laid-back, and always has a listening ear. He is handy around the house, a sports fan, and a good athlete. His energy is a big part of what makes him so great with children. He is an involved, loveable daddy and helps me care for our daughter. Josh has an extremely flexible work schedule and constantly finds ways to spend time with his family. He is a good man!
Our Daughter, Maya
Maya is a petite, little girl with a gigantic smile. She is happy and such a social butterfly. She loves to be around other children, so we know she will enjoy a sister or brother.
Maya joined our family last year. It was a pleasure to meet and learn more about Maya’s birth family at her birth. We keep in regular contact with Maya’s birthmom and we also have a website for her birthmom’s family and friends.
Home Sweet Home
We live in a small, central Texas town. It’s a place where you don’t have to lock your doors, high school football games are major social events, and picking up your dry cleaning can turn into a 20-minute conversation.
We own a cute, three-bedroom home. Our backyard is large, fenced in, and we have the best climbing tree. There is a good mix of young families and retired couples in our neighborhood. Some of our best friends live nearby and we go to church with our next-door neighbors. It’s a great place to raise a family!
Faith & Values
As dedicated Christians, our faith touches every part of our lives. It motivates us to be better spouses, parents, friends and citizens. We hope to teach our children to love the Lord and to develop a strong faith of their own. Our church family is a loving group and has become our “Texas family.” They welcomed Maya with open arms and we know they would do the same for your child.
We want to raise children who are respectful of others, thankful, honest, responsible, kindhearted, and always ready to do something good for someone else.
Our Promise
We are committed to having a Godly home where our family can flourish. The happiness and success of your child are extremely important to us, and we will do all we can to encourage them in their interests and goals. We feel that adoption is a blessing and we promise to tell your child how special you are to our family. If you are interested in talking with us, please contact Lifetime Adoption at
