Dear Birthmother,

We are a fun-loving and strong couple with much love and opportunity to give a child.  We are so excited about becoming first time parents and we thank you for taking the time to see a glimpse into our life.  We can’t wait to open our hearts and home to the child that God has planned for us through adoption.

About Us
We have been together for four years and are best friends and partners in every aspect of our life.  We share a lot of love, respect, and value each other’s opinion.   We place a high priority on education and would take every opportunity to encourage and promote this in your child’s life.  Music is a big part of our life, our home is almost always filled with some type of musical sound.  We enjoy exercising, cooking, and playing with our dogs.  Our pets bring much joy into our life.  We are very active and spend time together riding our bikes, hiking local trails, and walking our dogs at the park. 

Through God’s grace, we have accepted that it is not in His plan for us to have our own biological children due to problems with infertility.  Through adoption, God has a child out there for us to love, nurture, and cherish.

My Husband, Josh
Josh is a wonderful and caring husband.  He is very nurturing and has a strong passion to help others.  It was no surprise to me that he choose a career in healthcare which gives him a continuous path for helping others.  He especially enjoys working with pediatric patients.  Josh is an excellent provider and is very goal-oriented.  He always brings a smile to my face with the loving touch of his hand or his crazy humor at a time when I really need to laugh.  He loves to cycle and is excited about learning to play the guitar.  Josh is a blessing in many people’s lives, but most of all mine.  I am so blessed that he is my husband and best friend.

My Wife, Kathy
When I think about Kathy, many things come to mind.  Love, laughter, and loyalty are just a few.  She is not just an ordinary wife, but extraordinary.  She is the most compassionate and supportive person I’ve ever met and always places others needs before hers.  Kathy has dreamt of being a mother for some time and I can assure you that your child will be shown unconditional love and affection.  She will be a stay at home mom once your child comes into our life.  Kathy has a warm smile and a personality that is infectious.  Kathy is a member of the humane society and loves spending time with our three rescued dachshunds.  She loves cooking and trying new recipes that always seem to turn out perfect.  Kathy is without a doubt my soul mate.  I thank God each and every day for bringing her into my life.

Our Home and Family
We live in the scenic mountains of North Carolina, and our home is on several acres of beautiful countryside.  Our home is spacious, warm, and cozy with a large fenced-in back yard with room to run and play.  We have the best of both worlds by living in the peaceful country but also just a short drive to several large cities with many artistic and educational opportunities. Josh’s family lives nearby and can’t wait to play an active part in your child’s life.  We have a strong network of family and friends who will be a solid support system.  Our families are full of life, love, and laughter and are excited we are going to adopt.  We love traveling and spending time with our family and friends.  Taking family trips and exploring new places is always fun and exciting.
