We love children and we have loved being parents! The possibility of extending our family through adoption is extremely exciting and writing this letter is the most heartwarming thing we have ever done.

About Us
Over our fifteen years of marriage, we’ve built a strong relationship whereby we have a deep respect and love for one another. We laugh a lot and love to take advantage of all that life has to offer!

Water sports, biking, and cooking are some of our favorite pastimes. We have family and friends that live in our neighborhood and we enjoy biking over to visit them or gathering around the barbeque pit in the backyard while the kids fish off of our pier.

About Karl
Karl is a hard-working, compassionate person who is well respected by our friends. He is a great provider for our family and a very involved father. He helps with morning-time and bedtime routines, as well as playtime. He is also a great listener - I look forward to unwinding at the end of each day as we share the day’s events.

His job as a corporate pilot allows him great flexibility. He works for a very family-oriented company and often we are invited to go along on family trips to some great places. Being a pilot affords him extra time to explore his hobbies. As a side interest, he consults on home building projects and builds houses.

Karl is the most thoughtful loving man I know - I can still picture him holding our son for hours when he was a baby talking to him and hugging him. He is excited about bringing another baby into our home.

About Jennifer
Jennifer is fun-loving and brings a spirit of excitement to our life. She is also very patient, nurturing, and affectionate – she is an excellent mother to our son and he adores her!

Teaching school is a perfect job for a parent and I am glad Jennifer chose to be one! She is able to do something she loves and still spend a lot of time with our family. Another benefit: she works in the school system that our children will belong to. We both have college degrees and she has a Master’s degree. Education is very important to us and we look forward to helping our children excel in school.

She is extremely friendly and enjoys planning family outings and entertaining our friends at home. I truly appreciate her ability to make our home a comfortable place whereby our friends and family can enjoy spending time.

About Lawson
Lawson is a happy, loving little boy who enjoys building things on his tool bench, playing with his cars, and playing sports. He loves to curl up in your lap and read - especially if it is a book about one of his favorite things (superheroes or dinosaurs).

He also spends a lot of time playing with his dog, Chopper. Lawson provides him hours of entertainment by throwing his ball in the water–Chopper loves to go swimming and retrieve it!

Our Home
We live in a four bedroom and four-bath home on one of Louisiana’s beautiful waterways. We spend many afternoons sitting on our upstairs balcony watching the sunset and the boats go by. When we are not relaxing on the balcony or playing in the backyard, we are gathered in our downstairs game room that has an outdoor kitchen nearby.

Our Promise

We will help fulfill all of his or her dreams by providing a stable home life founded on Christian principles that will enable him or her to flourish. We will teach him or her how to love and respect others, how to be a confident person, and how to be a friend and make a friend.
