About Us
We are a fun-loving biracial couple, married for 11 years. We initially met in a line for concert tickets. In addition to our interest in music, we are both passionate about sports. Between the two of us we have dabbled in everything from football, basketball, soccer, triathlons, surfing, dancing and the list goes on. We are now finding ourselves on the sidelines watching our children try their hand in a variety of sports. Family has always been our top priority. We whole-heartedly embrace our role as parents. We plan frequent outings and vacations, but also enjoy the simple pleasures of sharing our day around the dinner table.

We have daily reminders of how fortunate we are to have each other. We are truly partners and soul mates in all we do. We have a strong faith and attend our local church as a family. We also enjoy playing games, gardening, BBQs with friends and going to the beach. We share our faith, goals and dreams. Our dream now is of growing our family through adoption.

About Ken
I said on day one that Ken is the essence of “goodness,” and I stand by those words today. Strong is an adjective to describe him. As an ex-football player, he is quite muscular, but a complete teddy bear on the inside. Spiritually, he is an inspiration. He truly lives a Christian life with values to be admired and is always the first one to help another in need, whether it be moving a piano or watching a neighbor’s child for the afternoon.

His light shined even brighter when he became a father. He gets us laughing each morning by his hilarious original dance routines and is the talk of the neighborhood with his fantastical Christmas light extravaganza. He is an amazingly motivating coach in AYSO soccer.

About Sharon
I have never met any one with the energy that I see in my wife. If there is a project to be completed, Sharon will surely tackle it. Her true passion is for family. She has a Bachelors of Science Degree and a teaching credential, so education is a priority. She loves to help the children with their homework and can often be found simultaneously reading and snuggling with the kids. Sharon has been known to throw some of the best parties around, from dinosaur to ballet themes. She loves to celebrate holidays and instill traditions with our family.

Our Children
We both knew we wanted a large, joyous, affectionate family with which to share our love. We are blessed with three children. Emily is 9, Chloe is 7, and Beau is 4. As our youngest will enter kindergarten soon, all of us are thrilled at the thought of a new baby to cuddle and cherish. Adoption has always been a consideration as we have witnessed the miracle with our two nieces.

We are proud of each of our children. It is in watching them grow and flourish, that we are confirmed in our desire to add to our family. We enjoy nothing more than spending time in their company.

Our Home
We are fortunate to live in a beautiful beach city in California. Four years ago we moved into a new home in order to be in a great school district. Our cul-de-sac is often transformed into a track for bikes, roller skates and strollers. Our home is two stories with 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms. There are lots of children close by and we are also fortunate to have some senior citizens as well.
