Thank you for taking the time to read about us and considering us as parents for your child.  We are a fun-loving, financially secure, bi-racial family, ready to love your child.  We are thrilled to be able to adopt with Lifetime again!

About Us
We have been together for twelve years now, and have been married for eight years.  We have been unable to have a child due to repeated miscarriages.  We have been able to maintain a strong bond and friendship with one another and feel that this strengthens with each year that passes.  We also have a beautiful home, a wonderful group of diverse friends, stable and interesting careers, and supportive families.

We often spend our time together cooking, gardening, going for walks, talking, and spending time with our daughter Cassidy.  We like to remain active and enjoy the outdoors, including fishing, camping, hiking, bicycling, swimming, and skiing.

We are both of Christian faith, and plan to raise our children with these beliefs.  We attend a non-denominational Christian church near our home.

About Andrea
My wife Andrea is a very kind, caring, and active person.  She is well educated and has excelled in her career.  She has worked for the same hospital for fifteen years and has degrees in physical therapy.  She is now in a management position, and has a flexible schedule.
 
Andrea is also very ambitious around the house, always looking for new projects or cleaning and doing laundry.  She loves to cook and entertain and we have a group of friends over regularly for dinner and barbecues.

Andrea is a great mother to our daughter Cassidy and is always teaching her new words or taking her out to experience new things.  She is passionate about adopting another child to complete our family.

I feel very fortunate to have a wife like Andrea, and I can’t wait for our family to be completed with the adoption of our second child.

About Kevin
My husband is a cheerful, easygoing man and a terrific father.  He is very attentive to our daughter’s needs.  His outgoing personality and even temperament draw many friends to him, even at the gas pump or in the checkout line at stores!

Kevin enjoys sports, music, artwork, and gardening.  He is always looking for new hobbies, such as oil painting or writing.  He is hardworking and reliable.  He has worked for the same company for seventeen years, and is able to maintain a benefited position while only working three days per week.

I am so proud to see what a great father Kevin is, and he can’t wait to add another child to our family!

Our Daughter, Cassidy
We adopted Cassidy as a newborn in August, 2007 through Lifetime.  We feel so fortunate to have her in our lives.  She is a very active, happy child.  She is very social and absolutely loves spending time with other kids and babies.  

We each have benefited three day per week jobs, so that we can each be home with her until she is ready to go to school.  We have one day per week together as a family, and on Kevin’s work days he gets home by 1:30 pm.  We plan to keep up these schedules until Cassidy and our future baby are in school full time.  Also, Andrea will take 6 months leave from work after the new baby is placed with us, and Kevin will take 3 months after that.  We have regular contact with Cassidy’s birthmother including visits three times per year. 

Our Home
We live in a beautiful and comfortable home in a diverse and safe neighborhood of the San Francisco East Bay hills area in Northern California.  There are many cultural, educational, and fun opportunities for children of all ages in this area.  Some examples of children’s activities in this area include zoos, aquariums, libraries, and interactive children’s museums.

We live in a spacious home with a big backyard.  There is a park within walking distance to our home, and the public school system is among the best in our area.
