About Us
We met over 10 years ago while we both were pursuing business degrees in graduate school. We’ve been married over five years now and our love is as strong as when we first met. 

We are each others’ best friends as well as each others greatest supporters in our careers and hobbies. We love spending time together, with family and with friends.

We enjoy doing weekend projects around the house as well as going out to dinner and a movie. We enjoy watching television together or playing board games with family and friends. Whether it’s running a 5K or traveling to other countries, we truly enjoy spending time together and learning through new experiences.

Sally by La Vonn
Sally is an incredibly smart and sincere person. Her friendly personality lets people immediately realize that she is a genuine person. Sally’s tender heart and caring style were the things that attracted me to her when we first met. 

She grew up the youngest of five brothers in California. Her parents instilled in her strong work ethic and playful attitude. A joy of learning has been a constant theme for Sally. After high school, she moved to Germany, learned the language and studied social psychology in college there. Before returning to the U.S., she traveled to Spain to learn the language and cultures.

Sally is truly a self-made person. She had the drive and intellect to put herself through college, start her own business, and earn two graduate degrees. Her drive and commitment have allowed her to excel in her profession and as a person.

La Vonn by Sally
La Vonn is not just a wonderful husband; he is my best friend. His outgoing personality and even temperament draws people to him. He’s a kid magnet. He’s so patient, creative and fun-loving. He’s a great role model, a real gentleman, and a caring person. 

La Vonn is such an athlete, that he can hardly wait to share his joy for sports with a child. To this day, being fit and active is a top priority to him. This year, he got both of us hooked on running. 

La Vonn grew up in a very tight-knit family. Education, good manners and family values were key cornerstones. Upon completing high school with top honors, La Vonn earned a full scholarship to a top university to earn his bachelor’s degree. Later, he pursued a graduate degree in business, which is where we met.

Now, La Vonn runs his own investment and property management company. He has a flexible work schedule that allows him to be at home often. 

Our Family
Family is the most important thing in our lives. We are both raised in two-parent households that provided us with a strong foundation of values and morals. Our families give us a solid support system. Sally has family here in Southern California while La Vonn’s family is in the Midwest. He speaks to his brother and parents almost daily. In addition, his family enjoys coming out to visit with us a couple times a year. 

Our families are incredibly supportive of us adopting. As a matter of fact, La Vonn’s uncle adopted two children and it was a wonderful experience. Both our families cannot wait to welcome the newest member. 

Our Home
We live in a diverse and culturally thriving neighborhood in Southern California. Our house is a comfortable Spanish colonial three bedroom house with a very inviting backyard. Sally and I enjoy doing weekend projects ranging from tiling our patio to gardening. Together we have created a great backyard that has plenty of room for children. Our house is located in a historical relevant neighborhood. We are centrally located to parks, the beach, and good schools. 

Our Promise
