About Us
We met in college and have been married for 18 wonderful years.  We have always wanted to share our love and affection with a child, but due to infertility, we have been unable to start our family so far.   We trust God has meant for us to begin our family through adoption.

We are best friends and enjoy being together.  We have built a stable and comfortable life rooted in God’s word.  Love and laughter has been the key to our happy home and we can’t wait to share these as parents.

About Sonia
Sonia is my best friend.  She’s a very kind, caring and active person.  Sonia has a strong commitment to God, family and friends.  She is loved by anyone who knows her and has been a blessing to me.  Sonia takes good care of me and will take good care of your child.

Sonia works with children and adults and goes above and beyond what her job requires, to help anyone in need. Sonia was named “The Champion for Children” and given an award for volunteer of the year. 

Others are realizing what I have known for years.  Sonia is committed to children and that same love and dedication will be the heart beat of our family.

About Lester
Lester is my rock, my confidant and best friend.  I always trust Lester to keep a clear head, make the right choices and consider all sides of a situation before offering an opinion or solution. Lester is smart and exceptional at discovering facts in the Bible.

Lester works with children with behavior problems. He has a special way of talking and playing with them which helps them make positive changes. 

Everyone who meets Lester says he’s a nice guy.  I agree and believe I have the best husband in the world.

Our Faith
We believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that God has freely given us the gift of salvation.  We will plant this seed of faith in your child and trust God to grow it.

We belong to a diverse church family who are very supportive of our decision to adopt and are praying for the birthmom and child who will become a part of our lives.

Our Family and Friends
We were raised by parents with long and happy marriages. The lessons we learned from our parents are deep in our hearts and will guide us in our future of parenthood.  Both of us experienced family summer vacations and gatherings during holidays and birthdays. We do these things to this day and will continue to do so with your child.

Lester has a son who lives in Connecticut.  Together we have a large extended family.  We live in the same town with Sonia’s extended family and two hours away from Lester’s.  We also have close friends, in several states.  All support our decision and are planning to visit when your child arrives.

Our Home and Community
We live in Eastern North Carolina where the beach is 30 minutes away and less than two hours from places where we can go to events like the circus or to museums and amusement parks.  Our neighborhood includes young families as well as retirees.  Our home is in a cul-de-sac where neighborhood children skate and ride bikes safely. 

Our Promise
Your child will be raised with Christian values in a home filled with love and understanding.  We will encourage and guide your child to make positive decisions in life and will be supportive no matter what.  We will also teach the importance of a good and well-rounded education.  Sonia is making plans to be a full-time mom.

Your child will know of his or her adoption story from the beginning and we are open to contact through letters, photos and will consider visits, if that is your wish.
