Hi! We are Mark and Cindi, we are truly excited and blessed that you are considering us as possible parents for your child.  We hope after reading our letter that you will see our commitment to be the best parents we can through adoption.

About Us
We have been married for 11 years and we knew from the start that raising children was part of God’s plan for us.  We tried to conceive for several years before learning we were experiencing infertility.  After continuing to wait and pray, God has opened our hearts to adopt.  We know that starting a family will add so much more to our lives.

We are the best of friends.  We enjoy watching movies, traveling and shopping.  We also enjoy spending time doing summer barbecue’s with family and friends.  Our hobbies also include music and dancing.  Mark is a DJ for a few Christian artists and he does several functions for church youth groups.  Cindi teaches a fitness dance class at an outreach center downtown. 

About Cindi Through Mark’s Eyes
Cindi is the love of my life! I am truly blessed to have her as my wife and best friend.  She is the most loving, caring, giving and sweetest person I have ever met.  Cindi has a tremendous gift of teaching.  She volunteers teaching children at a local outreach ministry.  After pursuing her Master’s in Elementary Education, she currently operates her own teaching business out of our home.  Cindi’s career allows for her to have a flexible schedule and to have the summers off.  The time, care and attention Cindi puts into her students are qualities I know will make her a wonderful mother.

Cindi is also a very friendly and outgoing person.  She makes people feel comfortable and can hold a conversation with almost anyone.  She also has a great sense of humor and people love to be around her. 

About Mark Through Cindi’s Eyes
Mark is the kindest, most giving person I know.  He truly strives to be the man and husband that God intended for him to be.  Mark is a very diligent worker and a great provider.  He currently works as a Senior Electronics Technician for a medical device company.  God has placed in Mark qualities that will make him an awesome father.  He is a very patient and compassionate person.

Mark also enjoys playing and watching sports.  His favorite sport is baseball.  He plays third base for a church softball league every spring. Mark sometimes says if he could do it all over again, he would have loved to pursue a career as a major league baseball player.

Our Home and Neighborhood
Our home is located in a family-oriented suburb in Minnesota.  Our community consists of several great schools, parks and recreational centers.  We have lived in this community for nine years. Our home is a great home in which to start a family. One of the bedrooms will be a perfect room for a nursery.  We also have a large finished basement/playroom area.

Our Families
Our families are very close and dear to us.  We spend all major holidays and several weeks in the summer with family.  Cindi has one sibling and two nephews.  Mark comes from a large family with two siblings, two nieces, one nephew, as well as nine aunts and uncles and fifteen cousins.

Our families are excited and supportive about our plans to add to our family through adoption.

Our Faith
We are both Christians and attend a non-denominational church where we serve and volunteer and have done so for several years. Our faith in Jesus Christ has played a major part in our lives. Our personal relationship with Him has guided us through every major decision that we have encountered, and we believe has led us to adopt. We believe it is important to raise your child to know, respect and love the Lord.
