Dear Birthmother,

We are Mark and Jennie. We would like to thank you for learning a little about us and for considering us as the adoptive parents of your baby. We have so much love to share and can’t wait to share our love with your baby.

Our Life Together
We met through a mutual friend and Jennie’s brother at a local race track. After a couple years as friends, we began dating and instantly knew we were meant to spend the rest of our lives together.

The minister who married us said he had not seen a couple so perfectly suited for each other than us. We have so many similarities and come from similar familial backgrounds. We have a very open communication and strong support system with each other, which makes our marriage stronger every day.

We like spending time together and with our family and friends. We enjoy camping, four wheeling, snowmobiling, golfing, going to the races where we met, going to car shows with Mark’s 1972 Camaro, and just helping each other out. We enjoy eating supper together every night and feel that having our evening meal together is a very important part of family life.

About Jennie by Mark
My wife, Jennie, is one of the most kind-hearted, loving people you will ever meet. She is also one of the strongest women I know. She is very smart and compassionate at her job where she works as a CT, Mammography, and X-ray technician. Jennie is well respected by her co-workers as they look up to her for her knowledge, kindness, and willingness to help.

At home, Jennie likes to tend to her many flower gardens, and she likes to decorate for each holiday. She also helps me with some of my projects around the house.

Jennie is going to make a wonderful mother. When I see her with our nieces and nephews, they look like they are having so much fun when she is playing with them or reading books to them. These are things I know Jennie will enjoy doing with our children.

About Mark by Jennie
My husband, Mark, is one of the hardest working and kind-hearted men I know. I am very lucky to have found such a wonderful man who I can honestly say is my best friend. He is always willing to help me around the house with anything I need him to and is very meticulous about any project he does at home or at work where he is a welder. Mark is mechanically inclined and enjoys working on his Camaro, four-wheeler, or the snowmobiles.

Mark is very good with children and loves to make them laugh by imitating Sesame Street character’s voices. He will be a great father and I can’t wait to see him with our baby in his arms. Mark works four days a week, making more time for family.

Our Home/Neighborhood
We built our three bedroom, two bath house and moved in two weeks after our wedding. Our home is on the outskirts of the Northern Wisconsin town where Mark grew up and is in a quiet country neighborhood with both children and elderly neighbors alike. We have a spacious front and backyard for children to play in and live in a great school district.

We are building more rooms downstairs to accommodate our guests, and we are preparing one of the bedrooms upstairs into a nursery.

Jennie’s mom made the bedding for the crib and the cradle that Jennie’s grandpa is building.

Our Family
We are both very close to our families and make as much time as possible for them. They all live within three hours of us, so we see each other frequently. Jennie’s parents live two hours away on a small sheep farm and Mark’s parents live in the same town as us. Mark’s mom is looking forward to watching our child a couple days a week.
