Dear Birthmother,

Adoption has already richly blessed our lives and we can’t wait for another little one to love and nurture! Your child will be raised in a Christian home with a stay at home mom and lots of hugs, kisses and laughter! Faith, friendship and deep love are the strengths of our 15 year marriage.

About Us
We met and became good friends while involved in our church youth group. In time, our friendship developed into a sincere and devoted love for one another which has blossomed into a happy marriage. In 2006 were blessed with our precious daughter Tessa who fills our lives with so much joy and love. Parenting together is so much fun and we are thrilled to be adopting a second child.

We enjoy spending time together whether we are watching Tessa explore new things, playing tennis, doing yard work, or cuddling on the couch watching a movie. Time with family and friends is also very important to us.

My Husband Mark
Mark is a sensitive, caring, loving, godly man. He is my best friend and I thank God every day for bringing us together.

Cooking up his delicious homemade pizza or grilling hamburgers in our backyard are things Mark likes to do. He finds it rewarding to keep our yard well groomed and enjoys a variety of sports, especially basketball.

I admire Mark’s faith and willingness to respond to God’s call to serve Him as a pastor. He finds joy in fulfilling that call in a variety of ways. His calm, playful nature shines through as he interacts with the children and adults of our congregation.

Mark is a wonderful daddy to Tessa. He is so gentle and loving as he interacts with her when they play, laugh or build together. Tessa always has a big smile for her daddy!

My Wife Lori
Lori is a very kind, caring and compassionate woman. She is the most loving and gentle person I know. I am so thankful to the Lord that He has provided me with a wonderful spiritual partner. Lori is so good with kids! I love to watch her play and interact with Tessa and our nephews and niece.

Lori enjoys tending to her flowers, baking and walking. She also collects children’s books and loves to read them with Tessa. But her real love and biggest joy in life is being “mommy.” Lori’s love and guidance are a real blessing for Tessa and will be for our next child. She’ll make a great mom of two.

Our Daughter Tessa
Tessa is a happy little girl who always has a big smile. She loves to look at books, talk on the phone, play with her cousins, and laugh. Tessa is always ready for play dates at the park, dancing, trips to her grandparents’ house and being in the water. She is truly a special blessing to us and her easygoing personality will help her be an awesome big sister.

Extended Family
We are blessed to live just a few hours from our wonderful Christian families. This allows us the opportunity to share in special family traditions like our annual cabin trip up north, as well as getting together to bake cookies, visit the zoo or just hang out. Our families are eager to welcome another child into their lives.

Our Home
We live in a small, friendly town in southern California. Our home has three bedrooms and a grassy backyard with lots of play equipment. We live within walking distance of the park, library and school. Our town offers many fun family activities too.

Our Faith
Our faith is an integral part of who we are and being involved in various church functions is one way we live out our faith daily. Lori participates in a variety of children’s activities and a Bible study. Mark’s ministry includes chapel lessons with preschoolers, visiting members, counseling families and teaching a variety of classes.
