Adoptive parents, Matthew and Kimberly

Dear Birthmother,

Hi, from Kimberly & Matthew! Thank you for reading our letter as you search for an adoptive family to raise your child, and also for taking the time to get to know a little more about us. We are so excited about becoming parents for the first time. As a loyal, stable and committed couple we are looking forward to sharing our love with the newest addition to our family, someone with whom we will shower with a large loving blended family, faith, laughter, unconditional love, encouragement and the support to excel in life.

Matthew and I have been married for over three years. We met in October of 2003 when Matthew was stationed at Fort Benning Army Installation. Our long distance relationship lasted for about two years until he finally got the nerve to ask my father for my hand in marriage. In January of 2005, we married and have had nothing but happiness ever since. We don’t pretend our marriage is perfect, but it is blessed and we work very hard to keep it that way. With a marriage built on our faith in God, respect for one another and an abundance of love, the only natural thing to do is to share it with a child. After years of unsuccessful infertility treatments we found that a new path in our lives had been laid for us.

Kimberly is a strong, positive and outgoing womanMy Wife, Kimberly
Kimberly is my best friend and equal in every way. It is such a privilege to be around someone so strong, positive and outgoing. She is the backbone of our family. Everyday waking up to see her is a joy and a blessing. I thank God for giving me a beautiful loving wife; she is truly the love of my life.

In her spare time Kimberly enjoys playing basketball, running, getting involved with church activities and our family readiness groups for wives with deployed husbands.

Simply put….AMAZING! Matthew is honorable, intelligent, compassionate, loving, tender, and patriotic man. My most trusted friend, he keeps me balanced and is always looking out for the needs of others. Matthew is very funny, kind-hearted, and selfless to his soldiers.

As a soldier in the United States Army for the last nine years, I could not be more proud of him. He serves his country as an Army Officer with honor, loyalty, bravery and an unwavering work ethic. All wonderful qualities found in the best of men and parents.

Matthew and Kimberly's home in GeorgiaOur Home
We feel very blessed to live in such a safe and family-oriented community in Georgia; although we will reside here for a short time while Matthew completes his schooling. No matter where we live we will always make it safe and loving home. Full of children and wonderful neighbors; our community has a beautiful playground, swimming pool, and is located in a wonderful school district.

Coco and Mojo love to go on long walksAbout Coco & Mojo
We have two of the sweetest faces that you will ever meet. Intelligent, loving and very affectionate, these two Yorkies are the life of any party. They enjoy playing, going for long walks, sleeping and will make a wonderful guardian and playmate.

Matthew and Kimberly are very close to their familiesOur Families
We have such a wonderful relationship with our families. Georgia is home to Matthew’s family and we are very blessed to have to have them so close. Matthew’s parents, grandparents, uncles and cousins live on his family’s 50 acre farm in their respective homes, which has been in the family for over 20 years. We always gather for every family event and holiday. Kimberly’s mother, father, sister, brother and extended family all now call Virginia home, always keeping a good balance between the two families; Kimberly speaks to her mother and mother-in law daily planning the next family excursion. We enjoy many holidays, family gatherings, and family cruises with both families.

Kimberly and Matthew promise your child will know he or she is loved unconditionallyOur Promise to You
First and foremost, we promise your child will know he or she is loved unconditionally. In a Christian home we will share the love of Jesus with them, provide the very best environment, and education to fulfill whatever their dreams may be.

We will always be open to sharing letters, pictures, and visits with you, if you so desire. We hope that this letter has given you a glimpse into our lives and our desire to become your baby’s parents.
