Hello from Angela and Max! We are so thankful that you are taking this time to learn about us. We began our family four years ago with the adoption of our son. Our family is very important to us and parenthood has been a blessing. We promise to give your child a safe, caring, and Christian home in an active family that believes in the importance of education, spirituality and living life to the fullest potential.

About Us
We are best friends and have been married for seventeen sensational years! We love to travel, and through the years we have toured throughout the United States and extensively abroad. We have filled our house with the photos of our incredible journeys and love to share stories with family and friends. Also, we enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, boating, scuba diving and horseback riding. Our family is our focus in life and we are looking forward to sharing all our experiences with another little one!

Angela About Max
Max is the most incredible person I have ever met! He works at the local power company as an operator’s assistant and enjoys the network of friendships he has developed. His kindness is unmatched and his patience and compassion have made him an incredible father, teacher, role model, and husband.

When Max wants to relax, he enjoys cooking (he is the main cook!), reading, downloading music, and playing silly games with Benjamin, which they often make up! These qualities have made him a great father and friend and I look forward to raising more children with Max.

Max About Angela
Angela was my best friend before I fell in love with her and she is still my best friend after 16 years of marriage. Her motherly instincts come easy because of her natural connection with children.

She is a zoology teacher at our local high school and balances her time with her “big kids” and our son so well. She has a strong devotion to our family, compassion and love of life. Her energetic nature allows her to see needs and take care of them. This, along with her great sense of wonder and curiosity about the world, makes her an excellent teacher and mother.

About Our Son, Benjamin
Benjamin is an awesome four year old who really wants to share his life, toys and knowledge with a little sister! His favorite place to travel is a toss up between Disney and the beach! His precious personality makes us feel so blessed that God brought our family together through adoption.

Our Pets
We have two very loving and gentle Labrador retrievers that Benjamin shares his life with and they go everywhere (possible) with our family.

Our Home
We live in “sweet home Alabama”! We live in a four bedroom, three bath home that is child-friendly! Our neighborhood is very social and there are lots of children of all ages. The neighborhood hosts family gatherings which include football parties, Halloween hay rides and Santa comes to the community gazebo!

Our Faith
We are active in our church and enjoy the programs they have to offer. Angela teaches in the children’s Sunday school classes and Max offers his talents in the Cooking for Christ ministries. Benjamin sings in the Cherub choir and really loves Sunday school! Our church is family to us and everyone there is so excited about our plans to adopt another child.
