Dear Birthmother,

Hello! Our names are Mead and Laura. We are so happy to share a peek at our family life with you. We are high school sweethearts and an energetic, stable couple who have been happily married since 1996.

We are so thrilled about expanding our family through adoption (again). Due to Laura's infertility we decided that the path to building our family is through adoption. In fact, our son, Parker, is a "Lifetime" baby. Your child will have absolute unconditional love from all of us.

About Us
We have a loving, secure relationship and are lucky to be each other's best friend. We started dating the day we were introduced, in 1989. We have always had so much fun growing up together, but we decided something was missing in our life - children.

Both of us are social people and love to entertain. We enjoy cooking together and catching up on each other's day. We love being outside. Some of our favorite things are going to football games, skiing, hiking, snowboarding, golfing, gardening, and playing with Parker and our doggies.

When relaxing, we watch movies, listen to music or read. We also love traveling and visiting friends. We are fortunate to have a family homes right on the water in Florida and the lake!

About Mead, by Laura
I have a deep love for my husband; he has been with me for half of my life and he is a part of my heart and soul. When Mead walks by me, he always smiles my way, which still melts my heart. Often he brings flowers home to surprise me.

Mead is optimistic and is always looking on the bright side of things. Mead has always been extremely respectful of me, our families and our friends. Mead is a great dad. You can tell by looking at him play with Parker and how happy he is.

Mead is ambitious in both personal and work life. He is extremely organized and goal-oriented. Plus, he's FUN to be with, which is what first attracted me to him.

About Laura, by Mead
Laura is so sweet, caring and thoughtful to everyone she knows. Her outgoing personality allows her to build an instant connection with a stranger. She is a fair person and a good listener. She is calm and doesn't get upset because of her easy-going personality. She treats everyone like she wants to be treated and cares deeply about our friends and family.

Laura has all the qualities that a good mom needs and Parker adores her. The second he sees her, his face lights up.

Laura is my best friend, my confidant and my soul mate.

About Parker
Parker has been a blessing. We adopted him at birth and have loved every moment with him. Not only has Parker been welcomed whole-heartedly into our lives, but also into our family and friends' lives.

We guarantee Parker will be a GREAT big brother to his little brother or sister.

Our Home and Neighborhood
We own a fantastic two story English cottage home with five bedrooms and three and a half baths. It has a huge fenced in backyard for kids to play on.

Our nursery is pale green with a beautiful white crib and crisp fabrics. We can't wait for the day we will be able to bring a baby home to this room.

Our neighborhood is extremely special to us, because we both grew up here. We are in the suburbs where there are quaint boutiques, family restaurants, and lots of parks for all the children! We go to our country club a lot. It has a pool, golf and tennis.

Our Promise to You
We make the promise that as parents we will always be there for your child whenever they need us for love, support and guidance throughout their life. We assure you that if you choose us as adoptive parents we are committed to raising your child in a loving home with Christian values. We will be there to support your child forever emotionally and encourage them to achieve all their hopes and dreams.

We promise to promote education throughout their life and encourage other interests such as sports, dancing, music, etc.
