We truly appreciate you taking the time to get to know us and consider us as adoptive parents for your child.  Hopefully this letter will give you a glimpse of who we are and the life we hope to share as a family.

About Us
We’ve been married for five years, and our relationship is based on respect, lots of laughter, and a longstanding friendship that we’ve nourished since we met in college.  We have no doubt that God played a central role in bringing us together, and we continue to grow in our faith and love for Christ.  After learning of our infertility, we truly believe that starting our family through adoption is the path God intends for us. 

Some of our favorite activities together include traveling, hiking, camping, and cooking.  Michael’s employment for an airline allows us to fly for free, and we cannot wait to travel with your child and see things through their eyes.  Cooking and sharing meals together helps us to focus on what's most important... each other and thanking God for our many blessings.  We look forward to spending these special times together as a family.

About Pamela
Pamela is my best friend and an amazing person.  She is compassionate, smart, and can always make me laugh.  I can't wait to see Pamela as a mom.  Her great sense of humor will definitely help make for a happy childhood.  I know with her intelligence, strong values, and encouraging nature, she will provide your child with a strong foundation.

Pamela has a heart for animals that she shares in her work as a pet sitter. She enjoys yoga and her morning ritual of a relaxing cup of tea.  She’s great at capturing memories and creating artwork through her love of photography.  And to top it off, she's an impressive cook...her spicy shrimp Creole is irresistible.

About Michael
Michael is an extraordinary husband, and he has the strongest integrity of anyone I've ever met.  His honesty and compassion make him a truly good man.  Michael manages a software development team, and he will make it possible for me to be a stay-at-home mom. 

Michael likes to spend his free time landscaping our yard, fishing, watching baseball, learning about cool science stuff, and grilling the perfect steak.  His silly sense of humor has truly helped me to find the joyful side of life, and he makes me smile every day.

I have absolutely no doubt that Michael will be an incredible dad.  He will make childhood so much fun with a lot of clowning around, all while providing guidance, encouragement, and most importantly, unconditional love.

Our Family
Our family means the world to us.  They are so supportive and are super excited that another family member will soon be on the way!  Your child will be showered with affection from four generations of family.  More than anything, they’re fun to be around, whether we’re hanging out around the dinner table or playing Wii with our niece and nephew.

Our Home
We live near a large city in North Texas which provides many opportunities for sports, arts, and cultural activities while allowing us to enjoy the quiet neighborhood feel that drew us to this community.  We live in a safe and diverse neighborhood with many young families and a highly ranked school district.  We have a three bedroom home with a beautifully shaded yard, and our garden is perfect for catching bugs or picking wildflowers.  There is both an elementary school and a park within walking distance.

We promise that your child will be loved without reservation and will always know how he or she came to be part of our family.   You will always hold a special place in our hearts, and your child will know that your love for them has never diminished. 

We will build a joyful home based on our faith in God, and your child will be provided with all the opportunities to explore their interests and talents and to pursue a higher education.  We intend to teach your child to distinguish right from wrong, to be respectful and compassionate towards others, and to believe in their inherent self-worth.
