Dear Birthmother,

Discovering adoption over a year ago has blessed us and helped us continue to build our family!  A strong Christian marriage, and a wholesome country lifestyle, woven together with laughter and unconditional love are just a few things we have to share with a child of any race, up to three years old and even siblings or twins (Trish is a twin)!

About Us…
We are Michael and Trish, and because we are dedicated Christians, relationships are very important to us. Our marriage is built on the foundation of our faith in Christ, coupled with love, respect, and communication. We hope to build a great relationship with you as well.

About Our Life…
Our home is nestled in a warm community, near one of the largest cities in Washington state. Since we love the security of the country, we live on our 160 acre family farm! Here we love, live, and share memories with each other daily. We are excited to share our many adventures where there is never a dull moment!

Chores and fun run parallel, from gathering the cows on horseback, to bringing in fresh vegetables, fruit and eggs. The options of happy childhood memories are endless as we ride four wheelers and horses, go sledding, and build both gingerbread and tree houses together. Because we run our own business, we are stay at home parents living out our dream in the safety of the country!

Our Family…
Once again our passion for healthy relationships blesses us with lots of aunts, uncles and cousins (as well as the best nanas and papas) to spend time with all year round from birthdays and Christmas to bonfires and sing-a-longs. They love and support us in all that we do including building our family through adoption.

Meet Michael…
A better daddy could not have been hoped for, as Michael’s gentle nature and twinkling eyes, are reflected in the expressions of our little man as he grows. Michael is our son Kohl’s hero, and always has time for us. He is a kind-hearted, hard-working father who always has concern for our needs and provides well for us.

Michael is a great communicator and has vested interest in our physical and emotional needs, understanding that feelings do matter, is always a good listener and very supportive. He adds quality, security, and completeness to my life as a parent. He enjoys swimming, snorkeling in the Caribbean, and tending our livestock.

Meet Trish…
She is the "energizer bunny" of mommies, and has enthusiasm that is unmatched!  Kohl loves to share every achievement with her as she is his cheerleader, you can see his excitement whenever she is near. She is extremely patient, and has a passion to teach life skills and character to her little family. Kohl finds daily security in her arms as she reads and sings to him and tucks him into bed. Trish loves being a stay at home mommy, and finds great joy in cooking healthy meals, and baking from scratch.  Adventure is her middle name, as she loves riding horse, white water rafting and entertaining family and friends.

Meet Kaylee and Emma…
Because we both have raised daughters from previous relationships, we can say that we are experienced parents. Emma is an excellent student and a high school sophomore. Kaylee is a woman of true character and highly respected as a person and as a professional horse trainer.

Meet Kohl…
Coming to us through adoption over a year ago, we have loved every moment as we watch him discover the world around him with wide eyed, wonder and excitement!

We are blessed to have a wonderful relationship with his birth mother, and enjoy sharing his special moments with her, as we help fulfill her dreams for him.

We Believe…
Childhood should be filled with warm, rich memories. In our home, children will experience the security and love of two parents, committed to guiding them into adulthood. Our passion is to teach them the importance of a relationship with God and those around them. Giving them values and morals to shape their character helping them become adults with honor, and to love the life they were given. We would love to share our commitment with you through pictures, letters, or possible visits, wherever you are comfortable. We have respect and confidence you will choose what is best for your child/ren.
