Dear Birthmother,

Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about us. We have been married for 13 years and it has always been our dream to have a family. God has blessed us with a strong relationship and we have so much love to share. We have been unable have children, due to infertility and we believe that God has another plan for us... adoption.

About us...
Our marriage is filled with love, respect and trust. We are best friends and we enjoy spending time together. We love traveling, taking long walks on the beach, visiting the zoo, going to baseball games and spending time with family and friends. We love animals and we have a membership to the zoological society. We like to visit the zoo at least once a month. We love all the animals, but our favorites are the giraffe, rhinoceros and gorilla. The Pacific Ocean is only a short drive away and is another of our favorite places to visit. We also love to go to baseball games to cheer the home team on to victory.

We met on the dance floor, while during Christmas vacation. Our first date was to see the movie, Hook. We knew after two weeks, that we were hooked on each other and that we would be together forever! Going to the movies is still one of our favorite things to do.

About Amy... by Mitch
Amy is my best friend and the most caring person I have ever met. She has a sweet way about her that makes it very hard not to love her. She is loved and respected by everyone she meets. It melts my heart to see her with our nieces and nephews.

Amy grew up on a dairy farm and is the oldest of five children. Her childhood on the family farm was filled with lots of hard work as well as fun. Amy is very creative. As a child she excelled at drawing and painting, but as an adult, her favorite way to express her creativity is to quilt and crochet gifts for friends and family. Amy also feels that a good education is very important and she has earned two degrees. She means the world to me and I want more than anything for us to have a family together.

About Mitch... by Amy
Mitch is my soul-mate. He is a very loving and compassionate man. He is passionate about life and loves to help people. His passion for helping others has led him to a career in law enforcement. Mitch has also earned a Bachelor's Degree in addition to his military and police training. His career is important to him, but he always makes sure to spend lots of quality time with his family.

Our nieces and nephews love to spend time with their Uncle Mitch. Mitch is a very good athlete and he likes to teach them how to play his favorite sports, basketball, baseball and football. His love for sports and fitness has compelled him to donate his time as a basketball coach and as a personal trainer at the local YMCA. I am very proud to be married to Mitch and look forward to sharing the joys of parenthood with him.

Our home...
We live in a beautiful, Mediterranean-style, three-bedroom, two-bath home in Southern California. Our neighborhood is very quiet and safe and our house is located in a cul-de-sac, directly across the street from the community pool.

There are several children who love to play in the pool and in our neighborhood playground. From our house, it is a very short drive to the Pacific Ocean, where we love to take long walks on the beach with our bull-dog, Monty.
