Dear Birthmother,

Words cannot explain the joy we feel from you reading our story. We believe God has a plan for all of our lives. Through our battle with infertility and the desire to have a child we have grown as a family. Through our love of children we know we are ready to share our lives through adoption.

We can provide a loving home with a stay-at-home mom, as well as a very large family that is eager to welcome a child into our home. We also offer spiritual, educational, and financial benefits that will make our home a great place to raise a child.

About Us
This year marks our ninth year of marriage. We enjoy traveling, picnics, fishing, going to the beach, church, shopping as well as spending time in our fenced-in backyard with our dogs. We live in an upscale lake community in North Carolina, and enjoy walks on the community nature trail as well as outings at the lake.

About Kim, by Nick
Kim is a strong woman with a desire to make our home a place where our family's needs are met. Kim was raised in the Mountains of Southwest Virginia, the baby girl to a coal miner and a stay-at-home mother. Kim was raised with 12 brothers and sisters, so there are quite a few cousins, nieces, and nephews to play with our new addition.

Kim loves to sing and play her fiddle in our Bluegrass Gospel Group. She is also the best pastor's wife a pastor could ever hope for. Kim has earned two associates degrees: one as a clerk/typist and the other as a dental assistant. Kim loves to raise our Chihuahua's and Labrador Retrievers, as well as home decorating, scrap booking, cooking, and of course, shopping. I know Kim will be the most loving and dedicated mother because she is the world's greatest wife.

About Nick, by Kim
Nick is the most amazing person I know; he is patient, kind and considerate. I thank God everyday that he placed Nick in my life and I know he will be as good a dad to our child as he is a husband to me. Nick graduated from a major university with a bachelors degree in human relations. Nick is the assistant vice president of recruiting for a large bank.

He has a great schedule with holidays and weekends off, and lots of vacation time. Nick also pastors our church. His hobbies and interests include playing many instruments, and singing and writing songs. He gives lessons to youth in the area and is looking forward to helping our child develop an interest and talent in music as well. Nick also enjoys fishing, building furniture, home improvement projects, our family Bluegrass band, and raising dogs. I smile every time I imagine Nick holding our angel for the first time. If anyone deserves to be a dad, he does.

About Our Pets
Animals have a special place in our hearts, especially dogs. We raise Chihuahua's and Chocolate Labs. Often we have puppies running around the yard, so the baby will have lots of fun playing with puppies. Our dogs are good-natured and stay outside the majority of the time. Kim has one special long-hair Chihuahua that she has taught to sing to the piano and can actually say "I love you."

About Our Church
A little over a year ago Nick felt called to preach and God opened the door for us to start a church in our community.

Our church is small, but we feel God will help it to grow. We have other small children in the church that will be playmates to a new little member.
