Dear Birthmother,

We love family, have a strong marriage, and can’t wait to adopt. Tammy will be a stay-at-home mom after we adopt and our family is excited to welcome another child.

We’d like to learn about you and the hopes you have for your baby, and stay in touch if you’re comfortable. We love to travel and would be open to visiting you, if you’d like.

A Great Team
We met through friends on a blind date and have been together for over four years now. Our Christian faith is important to us as a family and we value honesty, fairness, kindness, forgiveness, helping others, being there for each other, and of course love. We even have a sign in our kitchen listing these values as our “Home Rules” which helps remind us what’s important.

Even through infertility treatments we always felt excited about open adoption for our family.

We enjoy our home life and working on home improvement projects. These projects teach us new things and allow us to spend time together—two of our favorite things! We enjoy cooking, hosting barbeque parties, and going to the beach. We like to vacation and can’t wait to plan trips around your child’s interests, or to see you!

A Sincere Heart
Family is so important to Tammy. She loves children and is good at including kids in ordinary activities so they feel involved. Tammy is a great mom, is smart, and keeps us connected with loved ones.

Tammy is studying child development, but will put work and school on hold once we adopt to devote her time as a mother. Tammy enjoys scrapbooking, stamping and crafts, and tending our veggie garden. She volunteers to help others and loves to organize family traditions and get-togethers.

Warm-Hearted and Fun
Patrick can be bashful but given the chance he’s got a story for every topic. He has a strong moral standing, is funny and family oriented. When he came into our life, it was like a missing piece of our family had been filled. He welcomed the chance to love Ashley and I, as if he’d known us his whole life.

Patrick loves the History Channel and sports. He is good at tackling home improvement projects because he’s organized and eager to learn new skills. Patrick enjoys computers and technology and works in the computer industry. He often helps out his mother and has a huge heart for the people he loves.

Our Family
Our daughter, Ashley is in college studying child development (like her mom!) and works as a nanny. She lives at home and is excited about our plans to adopt. Ashley is respectful, thoughtful, loves family, and tells us she can’t wait to baby-sit.

Patrick felt honored a couple years ago when Ashley asked him to adopt her as his daughter. We feel blessed to have each other and look forward to carrying on traditions and creating new memories with your child as part of our happy family.

We have a large extended family with kids of all ages. Tammy has a cousin who has adopted a baby and everyone is excited about our plans to adopt. We enjoy living near most of our family, which means lots of time together.

Our Home in California
Our home has three bedrooms, a cozy fireplace, and two backyards great for gardening and get-togethers. We’ve planned a room for the baby’s nursery and can’t wait to decorate it. We live in San Jose in a family oriented neighborhood near a community pool and great schools.

Our Faith
We are a Christian family and plan to raise your child with Christian values and a positive church experience. We have a strong faith in God and we believe faith can help a child gain a solid moral compass. We also appreciate diversity and are open-minded about others’ perspectives.

Our Promise
