Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about us! After coping with infertility for many years, we realized that we are meant to be adoptive parents. This is a terrific time for us to grow our family, because we now have the ability for one parent to stay at home and the other to provide financial stability.

About Us
We met in college, have been married for 14 years, and are still crazy in love with one another. We share many passions: our dogs, the beach, travel, hiking, movies, books, family, friends and fun. We were both raised with Christian values, and attend our local Methodist church. We both have advanced college degrees, and we are committed to giving your child the best education possible.

Catherine, by Paul
My greatest blessing in life was meeting Catherine. She is compassionate, intuitive, and loves to laugh; yet she is also analytical and realistic. At her work as an Engineering Manager she is a born facilitator, and can get even the most stubborn personalities to work together.

She loves to sew quilts, bake amazing desserts, hike, snorkel, and take walks on the beach. Catherine loves animals and people. She has rescued lost pets and reunited them with their owners, and volunteers to help people in need. I can’t think of a kinder person on Earth and I know she’ll be a great role model and mother.

Paul, by Catherine
Paul is my rock, my grounding point. I most admire his patience, his generosity and his amazing intelligence. He is gentle and respectful and truly there, good times and bad, for his family and friends.

Paul runs his own antique collectibles business on the Internet, which allows him to work directly from our home with flexible hours so he can provide our own childcare rather than having to depend on daycare services.

He likes movies, music, hiking, playing with the dogs on the beach, and spending time with his friends. Paul is really funny, and loves to be silly and make us all laugh.

He will make a terrific daddy!

Our Home
Our house is warm and welcoming beach home, with a spare bedroom and bathroom just waiting for baby. There is a fenced-in back yard and a long driveway for play, and inside we have a large rumpus room for fun and family time. Walk up the sidewalk only six houses or so and you can see beautiful sunsets over the ocean, less than a mile away!

Our Community
We live in a great and very safe little California beach town. Though the big city is not far away, we are nestled in a peaceful place that feels like Small Town, USA. We have our own police and fire departments and are walking distance from the library, excellent schools and several parks.

It’s only a hop and a skip to the beach, but everything is within reach, including mountains for hiking, fishing and winter snow, a zoo, museums, an observatory, and it’s not far to the big amusement parks including Disneyland!

Our Family and Friends
Our family and friends are very excited about another child. Everyone is supportive of our adoption process and many have offered to write letters to allow you to know all of us a little better. Your child will be surrounded by a loving and fun extended family.

Our Pups
Clara, Bucky, and Buster are very gentle and affectionate with children. Our friends’ children love to come over just so they can play with our dogs! We have regular walks, trips to the nearby dog park, and we all like to go to the dog beach where they can run free on the sand or jump into the surf for a good swim or a game of fetch. Ours is a home of wagging tails and thundering paws.
