Adoptive parents, Philip and Kristi

Dear Birthmother,

We appreciate you taking the time to consider us as parents for your baby. A strong marriage and a country lifestyle is what we can offer to your child.

About Us
We met about 21 years ago at a local dance. We dated steady for 4 years. After Kristi graduated from college, we decided to tie the knot. We have been married now for 17 years.

Philip and Kristi adopted Clay from Lifetime AdoptionAbout 13 years ago, we decided to pursue having a family of our own. Using Lifetime Adoption, we were able to realize this dream when we adopted our son, Clay. He has brought so much joy to our life, and now we are ready to share our love and our home with another child.

We are best friends and have a supportive, loving relationship. We enjoy spending time together and get along well with each other's families. We enjoy many activities together such as going out for dinner, going to movies, supporting projects and fundraisers for wildlife habitats, traveling to new places, going for drives in the country, and shop together!

Philip and Kristi live on a farm in South DakotaAbout Our Home and Faith
We live on Kristi's family farm in South Dakota where she was raised. We live in a ranch-style house with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so we have plenty of room for a new addition to our family! We are fortunate to live in a small, caring community.

We both come from small families who live close by. Both our families have been very supportive of our decision to adopt and have welcomed our adopted son with open arms. They are very excited our plans to adopt again!

We both were raised and baptized in the Lutheran faith. We are members of a Lutheran church. It's important to us to raise our children with church and to be baptized and attend Sunday school.

Kristi raises a big garden every year and cans pickles and yummy salsaAbout Kristi
Kristi likes to read mystery novels, watch movies, play with her house cat Ginger and spend time with family and friends. She raises a big garden every year and cans pickles and yummy salsa. Kristi is very devoted to her family and has a kind, caring attitude toward others. She is a wonderful mother because she is kind, loving person who provides a baby with a positive and nurturing environment to grow up in.

Kristi is employed as an Activity Coordinator in a nursing home. She enjoys working with the elderly as well as the children in the daycare next door. Family is very important to Kristi and she plans to take time off from work with the arrival of our new child to build a loving, lasting bond. Her job does allow for flexibility, which would allow her to be there for those important family moments.

Philip is a farmer and also raises beef cattle and buffaloAbout Philip
Philip enjoys many outdoor activities, working to preserve wildlife habitats, reading, dreaming about old cars, and just being with family and friends. He is a farmer and raises corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. He also raises beef cattle and buffalo.

Phil is a hard worker, but he is also a fun person to be around. What I think is special about Phil is he is a very giving, helpful person who is always willing to give his friends and family a hand.

Phil is a great father who is always there as a father to give support and encouragement to our kids in everything they do; he enjoys being an involved father. Clay will make a great big brother!

About Clay
Clay is our very active four year old. We are so grateful that he has come into our lives. It is hard to remember what life was like without him! We know Clay will make a great big brother and we look forward to becoming a family of four. Clay's birth mother chose not to meet us or have any contact with us, but we are willing to share photos and updates with you, if that is your desire.

Philip and Kristi are excited to adopt again! In Closing
We are just thrilled about becoming parents to another child, as it has been our dream to have a family. We will be loving and supportive parents to a child and will provide a safe, stable home.

We thank you for taking the time to read about us. If you decide to choose us for your child's parents, please know that we will be forever grateful and will always cherish you in our daily thoughts and prayers, for you will have fulfilled our dream.
