Dear Birthmother,

Hi! We’re Randy and Lorelei . We met (officially) on a blind date, but our families have known each other for years. Randy’s father was a well-known game show host on television and Lorelei’s father was his dentist. The two men belonged to the same country club, playing golf together occasionally. They both thought they had great kids, and voila! Our first date was hiking in the rain and we have been inseparable ever since. 

We share a passion for the outdoors, skiing, surfing and traveling.  We have two children and have always wanted to add to our family. In our house, God comes first and we’d have to say laughter comes in at a close second. We love to have fun! Life is to be experienced and enjoyed. And we have so much love we are just waiting to share with a new member of our family. 

We are business owners, which keeps us close to home.  Randy grew up behind the camera and Lorelei was an actress in soap operas and small films for many years. This made the perfect combination when we formed our equipment rental/production company.  Randy handles the equipment, and Lorelei handles the production. Our office is in our home and that, combined with the success of our business, allows us to only work when we want. The perfect life! This leaves plenty of time for “kid” stuff, our first love!

Randy is a magnificent person! He’s an amazing father and has a never-ending well of love for his children. He is their “rock”. He is patient and sensitive, with kind eyes that twinkle when he laughs. He is liked by all and is quick with a smile or a helping hand. Family is very important to Randy.  He puts his family first before everything. 

Lorelei is Mommy from the word go. She is loving, creative, witty, and of very strong character. She is highly moral and is so involved in everything the kids do, from being the Girl Scout leader to volunteering at the school. Lorelei always makes sure there is a strong, loving home base. 

Our two children are growing up in the church and in private Christian schools. Not only do they get the best education, but, they are surrounded by love. Jack and Brina adore children and always have! Every summer Brina and Jack volunteer at the church, working as Jr. Counselors with the little ones. They also snowboard, ski, skate, mountain bike and backpack, and participate in organized sports. They are well grounded, well educated, and well mannered with extremely high morals.

We live in the mountains not far from the beach.  The beach is only six miles away and we can be on a ski mountain in less than an hour and a half. Our church and school are minutes from our house.  Our “neighborhood” consists of about 45 homes tucked back in a canyon in a guard-gated community.  With so few homes here, we know all of our neighbors and there are lots of kids!

Our entire extended family lives close to us, which makes for GREAT family get- togethers! (There are a lot of us!)  Thanksgiving is always at our house and everyone is invited.  For 4th of July we have the whole family to our lodge in Park City for the parade down Main Street and fireworks. We have many little nieces and nephews that LOVE this!

We love to explore and have taken trips all over the world.  From the Bahamas, to Russia, to Europe, we feel the best education is to go there and see it for yoursellf! On the agenda is Noah's Ark--we hear it's lodged in the Himalayans!

We have so much to offer and so much to give! God has blessed us in so many ways. We have a beautiful life filled with love, experience and tremendous family and friends. We have a fantastic marriage and we are so ready to give your child a perfect life filled with opportunity and unconditional love. We would love to stay in touch with you with letters and photos of all the wonderful things that will be happening in your child’s life. This is something we have hoped and dreamed for, for a long time now. If God is leading you to open your heart to us, please keep us in consideration.
