Dear Birthmother,

Hello! We are Richard and Rhonda and we would like to thank you for considering us to be the potential parents to your child.  Ever since we met in high school, we have always wanted children to share our lives with and we feel that growing our family through adoption will be the answer to our prayers.  We are so excited to be parents! 

About Us…
We were high school sweethearts and are truly best friends.  Our marriage is based on love, trust and mutual respect.   While we love our life together, we are ready to add a beautiful child to our family.

Most weekends we can be found in our backyard enjoying our pool and barbecuing.  We also love nature and love to go hiking.  We also enjoy bowling, playing basketball, swimming, riding go-karts and playing mini golf.  We also just love spending time at home relaxing and watching movies. 

My Husband, Richard…
Richard is my best friend and is a very compassionate person who never meets a stranger.  He will make the best dad.  He goes out of his way to help anyone in need.    He is a very fun-loving person who enjoys life to its fullest and has a great laugh and sense of humor.

Richard is also a very hard worker.  He has worked at the same company for 15 years as a production scheduler.  He is off work by 3:00 pm most days and gets four weeks of vacation each year.

My Wife, Rhonda…
Rhonda is very sweet, patient and nurturing and will make a great mom.  She was the oldest of four children growing up and both her brothers and her sister look up to her.  She also has a niece and nephew who absolutely adore her.  One of the things that I love about my wife is that family is her number one priority.

Rhonda has worked in the banking industry since she was 20.  She has a great job as Vice President of Accounting and has three weeks of vacation each year as well as a lot of flexibility for time off. 

Our Family and Friends…
We have a large family and a close group of friends who live in the same town as we do that are all very supportive of our plans to adopt.  Any child brought into our family will be showered with love.

Our entire family gets together at Christmas to watch the kids open their presents and have Christmas dinner together.  We also have a yearly family reunion at our house where we barbeque, swim and play softball in our backyard.

Our Home and Neighborhood…
We live in a small town in Georgia, in a very safe neighborhood. Our house is less than 10 minutes away from the hospital, pediatrician’s office, and schools. We have a very good school system where children get lots of one on one attention.  We also live close to parks, playgrounds, amusement parks, water parks, and cultural activities. 

Our house is on ten acres of land with a fenced swimming pool in the backyard.   Our house has plenty of room to play with four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a game room with air hockey and a ping pong table, a play room with video games and a screened in porch.  The baby’s nursery is directly across from our bedroom.

We have two cats, Rocky and Drummer, who love to cuddle.
