Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your baby!  Having a family together has been a dream of ours since the day we met.  After receiving the news that we were unable to have biological children of our own, it became obvious to us that adopting a child was our destiny.  We pray that you take some comfort in knowing that you are providing the greatest gift of all.

About Us
We met seven years ago and it was love at first sight!  We were introduced to each other through work and immediately realized how much we had in common and enjoyed each other’s company. Shortly after we met, we became inseparable and the rest is history!  We are a young, energetic couple who values the saying work hard, play hard.  We have an incredible life together and feel strongly about bringing an adoptive child into our life.  As an interracial couple, we are able to value and appreciate cultural diversity.

Life for us is extremely active and fun.  We both enjoy spending time outdoors whether it be golfing, boating, fishing, swimming or gardening.   We love to spend time on the water, listen to music, watch sunsets, entertain and hang out with our family and friends.  Traveling is a huge part of our life together.  We take lots of vacations each year and love visiting other countries.   

Our Careers
We both have stable and well paying careers.  Sara has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.  She has worked in the retail industry for ten years and. Richard began his career in Retail Management about 20 years ago. We both are store managers. We have a passion for our community and are active volunteers with several different organizations and charities.  We are strong supporters of education and will be able to provide a college education for your child.

Our Families
We have an incredible heart for our families.  Richard’s family lives within minutes of us and Sara’s family is within driving distance.  Sara is the oldest of four girls and when she has time off she is usually visiting one of her sisters. Richard has two sisters and a brother. He also has two children, Breanna who is 15 and Richard Dale who is 11 who we absolutely adore.  We have lots of fun together when they come to visit us.  They are so very excited about having another brother or sister!

Our Home and Neighborhood
Our beautiful, new home is in a gated waterfront community in sunny Florida.  We are minutes from sugar sand beaches!  Our house is a Key West style beach home with three bedrooms and four bathrooms.  We absolutely love our friendly neighborhood and our actively involved in the Homeowner’s Association.  Our neighborhood has a community pool on the water which is always filled with lots of kids as well as a dock with boat slips.  We can often watch the dolphins swim right up next to us at the dock!  

Our Promise to You
