Dear Birthmother,

It is with great pleasure we share our lives with you. We are an active couple whose lasting fourteen-year marriage is full of love, laughter, trust and respect. Due to infertility we are blessed to welcome a child into our hearts through the joy of adoption. We are delighted to become first time parents!

We are a fun-loving, laid-back active couple who take pleasure in spending time with each other, friends and family. We enjoy going to movies, touring museums, attending local festivals, cooking, bowling, traveling, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Being avid travelers we have explored countries around the world, all across the U.S., and places close to home. We look forward to sharing these adventures with our child and equally anticipate family camping trips, fishing at the lake, playing at the beach, outings to the zoo, and exploring fun amusement parks.

Our Extended Family…
We have a close-knit, loving family that gathers for holidays, special events, and vacations. Both of our families are extremely important to us and are supportive of our adoption plan. Everyone is overjoyed about a new addition.

About Rick...
Rick is fun, easy going, and kind with a wonderful sense of humor. His patience, dependability, and devotion to family make him a loving and supportive husband. His outgoing nature is infectious and his youthful energy makes life fun. Rick will be a loving and actively involved father. He can hardly wait to go camping, give piggyback rides, play ball in the yard, carve big pumpkins, and read bedtime stories with his funny impressions. Fatherhood will be Rick’s greatest joy.

He is an excellent provider and has been in the U.S. Army for 24 years. He is hardworking and dedicated with a very flexible schedule that allows him to be home every evening and on weekends. Rick enjoys fishing, golfing, working in the yard, and the great outdoors. He loves all sports and enjoys playing them. His favorite football team is the NY Jets and his favorite baseball team is the NY Mets. Most weekends you will find Rick grilling something delicious on the BBQ and working around our home.

About Jennifer...
Jennifer is caring and compassionate, with a relaxed nature and constant beautiful smile. Her warmth and love is easily felt throughout our home, inside and out. Her loving and outgoing personality makes her a natural with children and adults alike. She is a unique and interesting person and I am blessed to have her as my wife. We are fortunate Jennifer will be a stay-at-home mother. She is eager to immerse herself in motherhood and she will be a blessing for any child.

She is a great cook and loves to surprise me with my favorite cookies and meals. She has many hobbies and whether it is a new cross stitch design, working on crafts, gardening, scrapbooking, decorating our home, or whipping up a new recipe she is always busy with an interesting project.

Our Home...
We reside in Virginia within one hour of Washington, D.C.  Near our home are many museums, zoos and aquariums, amusement parks, national parks, beaches, the mountains, and historical sites to enjoy. 

Our home is a beautiful colonial with four bedrooms. A large sunlit family room is the heart of our home with room for toys and playing.

The nursery is decorated in a bright and cheerful theme. The game room is a favorite family gathering spot and has space for a child’s playroom. Our fenced in backyard has grass to play in and is ready for a swing set and sandbox. We live on a quite cul-de-sac in an active family neighborhood and our home is located within an excellent school district.
