Hello. We're Laura and Robert. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We've been blessed with a strong marriage, a fun-loving daughter and a home filled with lots of laughter. We are excited to be adopting another child into our family. We hope to get to know you and your hopes for your child, and perhaps our futures will come together through adoption.

About Us
We were married over six years ago and have a very happy, stable marriage. Our strengths fit together perfectly and we enjoy a comfortable, easy relationship.  We love adventures and together, we have traveled to 11 countries around the world.  We look forward to taking our children on adventures as they grow.  As fun as it is to travel, we also enjoy life's simple gifts – entertaining friends, playing in the pool, laughing during dinner, teaching our daughter to love books and game nights.

We truly enjoy spending time together and would love to include your child in our family fun.

About Laura
Laura is one in a million.  She's fun and smart and wise.  When people meet Laura, they notice her warm smile and easy laugh.  Laura's an incredibly thoughtful and caring wife and mother.  Laura loves teaching Mikayla how to bake and do crafts.  She also enjoys taking Mikayla swimming in our pool, feeding the ducks at the pond and swinging at the nearby park.  One of the neat things Laura does is keep a diary for Mikayla so she can read about all her antics and adventures when she's older.  I know she plans to do the same for your child.

I couldn't have asked for a wife more supportive of my dreams – or a more caring, thoughtful mom for our children.

About Robert
Robert is a wonderful husband and father!  He is incredibly thoughtful, generous, caring and super fun!  Robert is also very funny and is always making us laugh.  People love to be around him, as he’s very up-beat, and they deeply admire his character and integrity.  

About Mikayla
Mikayla will be an awesome "big sister."  She is always happy and smiling and makes friends with everyone she sees.   Mikayla adores babies and gives them kisses. 

Mikayla’s favorite indoor activity is “helping” mommy in the kitchen.  Mostly, Mikayla loves being outdoors, whether it's playing in the park or running into the surf at the beach.  She also loves Disneyland and wants to share our monthly trips with a brother or sister! 

Our Home
Our four bedroom home in sunny California is perfect for raising a family, and we have a special nursery all set for a new baby.  Our neighborhood is a fun one with block parties and young kids out playing all the time.  The award-winning elementary school is a block away; and we often see friends riding horses on the trials that surround our neighborhood.  There is a nature preserve for hiking right across the street and the beach is just minutes away. 

Parenting and Family Life

We are devoted Christians and take Mikayla to church every week.  We will raise our children with strong Christian values and encourage them to dream big and follow their dreams.  Our children will be strongly encouraged and financially supported to get college educations.

Spending time with family is very important to us.  We are fortunate to have extended family nearby, with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Laura’s brother and wife are currently in the process of adopting a child, and the whole family is so excited for them; as they are for us!
