Our Relationship and Marriage
We knew after our first few dates that we had a special chemistry that grew into a relationship based on mutual love, trust and respect for each other. We share many of the same values about family and faith, and have learned to deal with ups and downs through prayer and a strong sense of commitment and dedication to each other.
  
Why We Chose To Adopt 
We have always been open to the idea of adoption and discussed it at great length before getting married. We both love children and look forward to raising them together. We enjoy being parents to our daughter Ciara, and feel that adoption is a perfect way to expand our family. Your child will be welcomed, loved and cherished.
  
Ciara
Our daughter Ciara is a kind, cheerful and energetic child who is a true “people person”. She is very affectionate and loving, and gets along well with other children and adults. She is an excellent student and looks forward to spending time with her cousins, friends and Daisy Scout troop. She has told us on many occasions that she wants a sibling and is excited about becoming a big sister.
  
Our Hobbies
We share common interests and enjoy spending our free time doing them. We like to travel to other states, theme parks, the beach and the zoo. At home, we have been teaching Ciara how to play different card and board games from our childhood, which we all enjoy. Pat likes reading, movies, gardening, shopping and decorating the home, while Robert likes physical activities such as running, basketball, football, pool and video games.
  
Employment and Child Care
We both work full time. Robert is in the Army and works as a logistics manager. Pat is an elementary school counselor. We have a large selection of friends and family who are available to help us with babysitting duties when needed. They are all supportive of our decision to adopt.

Where We Live
We live in a Florida subdivision that is less than an hour from the ocean. It is a fairly new community, and we have always felt safe and comfortable here. We are surrounded by several small lakes, a community pool, walking trail, and play area. Ciara’s elementary school is only a year old and less than a mile from our house. Plans are underway for a future middle and high school nearby.

Our house is spacious, nicely decorated and kid friendly. It is a single story, brick home with four bedrooms and two baths, a large, well maintained, fenced in yard and a spacious family room and screened in patio.

Faith
We are a Christian family and believe that it is our duty as parents to teach our children about Christ at an early age so that a foundation is established that carries them into adulthood. Raising children is a huge responsibility and we must practice what we preach and set the example by living a moral and decent lifestyle.
