Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking time to learn more about our family!  We are Ross and Callea; a young, energetic couple. Seven years ago we met while in college and have been inseparable ever since. We are very excited about becoming first-time parents through adoption! It is truly an honor that you are considering us as potential parents for your baby.  We have a strong marriage based on love and laughter.  We can offer your child a financially stable home and a lifestyle built on a foundation of faith, family and love.

Adoption is already a part of Callea’s immediate family and we are excited about starting our family in this way. 

About Us
Our lives are one adventure after another.  God has blessed us both with exciting and successful careers as officers in the U.S. Military.  Being in the Military has provided us with unique opportunities to both travel and live abroad.  The Military community promotes the importance of families by providing an abundance of programs, events, and services that are specifically designed to improve family life for Service Members. 

Our Home and Hobbies
We currently live in a private housing community in North Carolina. We own our four bedroom house and are ready to share our home with a child. We have two dogs, Ajax and Titan, who enjoy playing in our large backyard and in the nearby parks.  As a couple we enjoy many outdoor activities.  SCUBA diving, boating, and swimming are some of our favorite things to do.  When we aren’t relaxing on the water we like to play volleyball, football, Frisbee, and pretty much any board game.  A love for these hobbies and more is what we desire to share with our future children.

About Ross, By Callea
Ross is simply my best friend.  He can always make me laugh and even after all these years still finds little ways to make me feel loved.  He is very intelligent and creative and he has a great sense of humor.  He genuinely cares for people and is always willing to go out of his way to help others. 

Ross enjoys working with his hands. Whether it be learning to fix vehicles or tending to the lawn, Ross is always involved in a project.  He has always wanted to have children and I know he will be an amazing dad, fully involved in all aspects of your child’s life.  From sports to science projects, Ross will be there to teach, love, and support your child in whatever he decides to do.

About Callea, By Ross
Callea is adventurous and spirited. Whether it be new foods or new hobbies, Callea continually challenges me to try new things with her.  She is very motivated to succeed both at work and at home.  Even though she works, she still makes time to take care of our house, our dogs, and me.  She is dedicated to our marriage and our future family above all else. 

Callea holds a true and genuine love for her fellow soldiers, her family and most of all for me.  Watching her care for others so purely shows me how great of a mom she will one day be.  There is no doubt in my mind that Callea will truly love and care for your child for who he is.
 
Our Families:
We both come from large, loving and supportive families.  Our families are excited about the prospect of adoption.  They look forward to becoming grandmas, grandpas, aunts and uncles.  Between our two families your child will have no shortage of people to love and support him throughout the years.  Growing up, Callea’s family was blessed with the adoption of her two brothers.  Seeing how truly happy her family has been, made us both want to pursue adoption to build our own family. 

In Closing:
Again, we appreciate your consideration of us as your child’s family.  We promise to love your child unconditionally.   We are open to future contact via pictures, letters, emails, and possibly visits as you feel comfortable.  We want your child to grow up with the knowledge of the choice you made for him and he will know how special you are to our family.  We will raise your child to be proud of his adoption story.
