We have dreamed of having a family and know in our hearts that we are ready to adopt our first child. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.

Our names are Kat and Scott and we have been married for ten years.  In that time we have created a life together filled with love, friendship and adventure.

Our Life
We met in college in a science lab when we were studying for our degrees in biology. We love traveling to new places and experiencing other cultures.  We hope to be able to show your child the world.

We are both active and enjoy the outdoors.  Whether it is camping in the woods, skiing down a mountain, or swimming in the ocean, we appreciate the adventure of the outdoors.  We love to go bike riding though the city or hiking on a beautiful trail. 

We are so blessed to have a caring and loving network of family and friends that are so excited about our child. Our love and friendship has grown stronger each day we have together.

About Scott
Scott is a professor of science at the local community college.  He is an excellent teacher and is well respected by his colleagues and his students.  His compassion, intelligence and dedication are the qualities that have made him such a successful teacher.

Scott has many hobbies.  He plays the guitar with such passion. I love hearing the beautiful sounds as he plays.  I know he would love to share his love of music with our child.  He is also very athletic.  He loves to hike, cycle, and play sports.  He often shares how he can’t wait to do these activities as a father. 

Scott is the most genuine person I know.  He is kind and incredibly talented.  I have never met anyone as loving and honest as he is.  He is someone you know you can always count on to be there for you whether it is for a laugh, a shoulder to lean on or someone to listen.  He is the best person I know and my very best friend. He is going to be an amazing father and I can’t wait to see him in that role.

My love for Kat still grows stronger day by day after all these years. Kat is quite simply the cutest, sweetest, most vivacious person you will ever meet. Her warmth, caring demeanor, and supportive nature enhance our life in ways that are immeasurable.

Kat has many hobbies and talents. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She is very close to her cousins and loves to travel and enjoy good food. She loves to work in the kitchen, and I love to eat the delicious things she prepares.

Kat is a teacher and she is driven to make a difference in the lives of young people. Everyone with whom I have spoken has made it a point to tell me that she is a very special teacher and person. She will be the most amazing mother you could ever wish for your child.

Lifestyle
We live in a small community in northern California.  We attend a local Catholic church and feel that our faith is an important part of our life.  Our neighborhood is filled with many friendly families and there are always children playing outside.  The local school district is one of the best in the areas, one of the reasons we chose to live here.

Our home is a three bedroom two bathroom house with a nice sized back yard.  Our town is safe and has many wonderful traditions that are unique to the community.  There is a beautiful park in walking distance of our home, which we often walk our dog Maverick to.  The park is where families gather for soccer tournaments, tennis, basketball or picnics.  We love where we live and the life we have created here.
