Thank you for this opportunity to introduce ourselves and to share our excitement about being adoptive parents. We are thrilled about creating a loving family through adoption. About Us
When we met at a Catholic university, we shared so many common interests that we were an instant fit. Our shared Catholic faith and importance of family laid the foundation for our relationship and continue to contribute to our happiness and provide us strength. Now, we’ve been married almost 15 years.

On the weekends, we like to tend our rose and herb garden and walk our dog, Bridget. Our home is located in a quaint family-oriented community in Southern California, where we have wonderful neighbors with whom we have close friendships.

Our Family Life
Both sets of our parents live nearby and we visit with them often and share holidays with them. Colleen’s grandfather, brother and aunt also live close by and we take her grandfather to church every Sunday. Two of Sean’s brothers live in Southern California and we enjoy getting together with their families regularly. We often spend time with our God children and we look forward to your child being a part of their lives as well.

About Sean by Colleen
Sports have always been a big part of Sean’s life. He follows the local sports teams and attends several baseball games per season. We often enjoy watching games together or with family and friends. Sports are Sean’s passion, which he’ll look forward to sharing with your child. He also has interests in reading, exercise and watching movies.

Sean is fortunate to work 15 minutes from home as the Director of Operations for his company and his logic, empathy and strong morals have contributed to his success at the office. He has a great sense of humor and possesses a tremendously big heart. He has taught me not to take myself too seriously. Laughter plays a large role in our household on a daily basis and Sean has a way of making me laugh on even the toughest of days. Being there for family and friends is a large part of who he is and it is his giving nature that often makes my heart smile.

About Colleen by Sean
Drawing and reading are two of Colleen’s favorite indoor activities. She grew up in a creative family and will share her talents with your child. Gardening and exercise are activities that she enjoys outdoors.

Colleen uses her creativity as an interior designer working from home. Our plan is for her to stay home with the baby and only work on an occasional basis. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met and I admire her devotion to her family, friends and her faith. She serves as a liturgical minister at our church and her dedication inspires me to be better in all aspects of my life. She often finds opportunities to show me that she knows more about my favorite sports teams and brags when she is right. Her kindness shines through and she has a way of putting a smile on my face.

In Closing
We truly are best friends. A day never passes without our knowing how much we appreciate one another. We believe kindness receives kindness and we focus on treating others how we like to be treated. Our relationship is built on mutual respect and admiration and our Catholic faith continues to be a large part of who we are. We will share our faith with your child as a part of our daily life. We will also teach the importance of giving to others and the value of education.

It has always been our hope to have a family. However, we have believed for many years that adopting a child was part of God’s plan for us and we know that we were meant to be parents. We are so excited about starting our family through adoption! You will always be special to our family.
