Dear Birthmother,
We met 12 years ago at our first duty station with the United States Air Force. We have been married for over 9 years and attribute this to God, and the love, respect, and honesty for one another. We are a fun-loving, secure, Christian couple that can hardly wait to add another child to our family.
After our son’s birth we decided to expand our family through adoption due to LaLeche’s health condition. LaLeche was diagnosed with lupus, but it does not effect her ability to be a good mother and wife. We are very excited to adopt a child and our son, Vincent is ecstatic to become a big brother.
We will provide a happy stable home filled with unconditional love, lots of hugs and kisses, and and plenty of laughter. “I love you”, is always heard (and felt) in our home. Sean plays “tickle monster” with Vincent and it is very silly. We value education and family. Dinners and cook-outs with family and extended family is a big part of our enjoyment. We are truly blessed with a group of family and friends who support us, pray for and with us, and are eagerly awaiting our new arrival.
About Sean from LaLeche
Sean is my best friend and truly the love of my life. Sean has a very giving nature, always willing to help someone. His has an easygoing, witty sense of humor. This is a beautiful reflection of his childhood and nurturing. Sean was adopted as a newborn by two loving parents, after who Sean patterns his desires in life.
Sean has such a positive perspective on adoption and views it with joy.
Sean’s Christian values and beliefs can be seen every day as he puts his family, our safety, and well being first. I love to watch him read with or teach basketball to our son. Sean values spending quality time with and being involved as a father. He is looking forward to sharing his love with another child.
Sean is in the Air Force where he is pursuing his Doctorate of Public Health. He also has his Bachelor’s in Health Science and a Master’s in Public Health. I am very proud of his military career and the desire to strive for the next level.
About LaLeche from Sean
LaLeche is a compassionate, dedicated wife and mother. I love to see her smile and laugh every day. She has this silliness that makes me laugh and smile and keeps our family well balanced. When she walks into a room, people take notice of her presence and her kind personality draws people towards her and makes them want to be around her. Che has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Nutrition. She currently works as a Pharmacy Technician, the skill she learned from the military. Che loves being in the kitchen cooking and baking, and she often has our son cooking and baking with her. Che made most of Vincent’s baby foods, our friends ask for various recipes she has made, and tell her she should go into business for herself. Che truly loves and enjoys life no matter what she is doing.
Our Son
Vincent is a wonderful gift from God. He is currently in kindergarten and loves school. He likes sports, being adventurous, Power Rangers and Transformer. He has expressed that he can’t wait until he has a little brother or sister so he can read to and play with them. Vincent loves to visit his grandparents on the farm and feed his cows and horses! Whether it’s being coached by dad or just bouncing around at the playground, Vincent enjoys being a kid. We are blessed to share this time with him.
Our Home
Our home is a two-story, four bedroom, two and a half bathroom historic home with lots of charm. We are surrounded by other military families, which provides for a neighborhood rich in culture and diversity. We have a Dachshund-Chihuahua mix named Texas who loves to snuggle and play. Tex is caring and great with kids.
Our Promise
We promise to provide a loving, stable home with two parents in a loving marriage; unconditional love; and provide the opportunity to grow and see the world and learn new cultures. We promise a bright, secure future filled with love, dedication to God, and family.
