Dear Birthmother,

Hi from the Pacific Northwest!  We have been truly blessed to be surrounded with loving family and friends, and would enjoy nothing more than to share this with a child.  Ever since we got married we have dreamed of starting a family.  Due to infertility, we have embraced the idea of adoption and are truly overjoyed at the thought of building our family through adoption.  We sincerely appreciate you taking time to read this and get to know us better.

About Us
We are high school sweethearts and have been married for four years.  Our relationship can best be summed up with one word, “FUN”!  We are a young, silly couple that can find the fun in any situation. 

We enjoy doing just about anything as long as it’s with each other.  We look forward to raising a child in a home full of laughter, compassion, and happiness.

About Dominique
Dominique has a smile that lights up the room and the type of personality that makes everyone want to be around her.  She is warm, caring, happy, silly, and she makes me laugh constantly.  She is currently finishing college to become an elementary teacher.  This is a perfect job for her because she seems to have never ending patience when it comes to children.

Dominique is originally from South America, and is fluent in Spanish.  She was born in Chile and lived in Brazil until she was in the sixth grade, at which time her family moved to the United States. Dominique loves doing craft projects around the house, gardening, cooking, and shopping.  I know Dominique will be a great mother. I have seen her around our niece and our friends’ children. She is caring, patient, kind, and fun. She has the motherly instincts and caring nature to provide everything that a child could ever need or want.

About Shaun
Shaun is compassionate, hard working, responsible, loving and the list just goes on.  Shaun brings laughter and happiness to my life everyday. He is always doing silly things to make me laugh. 

Shaun is a mechanical engineer for the United States Navy. He enjoys working on cars, fishing, camping, SPORTS, playing board games, watching movies and being around his friends and family.  Shaun is a very happy person and always has a smile on his face.  Shaun loves to make people laugh, and is still a kid at heart (Last Christmas I even bought him Legos!) Shaun is such a loving husband, and I cannot wait to say the same about him being a loving father.  Anytime we are around our niece or our friends’ children I just fall in love with him even more; he is just so good with them. He is meant to be a father.

Family
We believe there is nothing more important than family and luckily we live very close to ours and get to see them constantly.  Both of our parents have been married for 30+ years and both of our families are extremely excited about our plans to adopt. They look forward to spoiling the grandkids and going on some great vacations in the future.

Faith
We believe in the Christian structure concerning morality and values. We believe that all people are born with an inherent sense of right and wrong, and we plan to teach our child to do what’s right and always be kind, giving, and patient.

Home
Our home is a large rambler in a small quite neighborhood full of other young children, located about 20 minutes outside the city.  We have 2 acres of forest land behind our house that is just begging for a tree house. We live 100 yards from a small lake that is great for swimming and fishing in the summer.
