We are so excited that our dream of a raising a child may soon come true through adoption. We appreciate your time to learn about us. We have been married for seventeen years and have a very strong, loving relationship. We can provide a home where your child will always be loved, cherished and encouraged to follow whatever dreams he or she may have.

About Us
We have known each other all of our lives. Our families belong to the same church. Shawn was raised as a country boy and Janice as a city girl. We have blended our lives together and now enjoy the best of these two worlds.

After many miscarriages, Janice underwent a hysterectomy.  We’ve been hoping to start our family for some time and we know that building our family through adoption will be a blessing. We have so much love to give a child and believe strongly that this is Gods special plan for us.
 
We love spending time together just hanging out. Our home is filled with lots of laughter! We enjoy riding horses, riding four-wheelers, going to the lake, working together on projects around the house and traveling. The holidays are a fun time for us and we enjoy decorating the house for each one. For the main holidays we get together with our families. We are so excited to share all of this with your child, to share our traditions and begin many wonderful new ones.

About Shawn
Shawn is not just my husband, he is my best friend. He is the most caring, compassionate, patient, supportive, and loving person I have ever met. He also has a great sense of humor and I’ve always known he was the one for me! Shawn enjoys drawing and leatherwork and has done some amazing artwork. 

Shawn is a very hard worker and has been a crane operator for my family’s construction company for years.  I know Shawn will be a terrific dad and I’m so excited to see him with a child of his own to love, nurture and spoil!

About Janice
Janice is a very strong, creative person with a very warm and welcoming personality. I look forward each day to coming home to her great smile! She’s very supportive and is always there for me. Janice has a great sense of humor and is extremely compassionate. We have many nieces and nephews and they all love their “Sissy” (Janice). She even home schooled her niece to help her catch up in school.

Janice makes our home very warm and comfortable. She loves interior decorating. She’s been asked to decorate for several weddings. She loves art and often her sculptures and paintings are sold at art shows. Janice is looking forward to being a stay at home mom. I know there is no one out there more qualified, loving and excited to be a mom than Janice!

Our Families
Shawn’s family lives in Colorado and we love going there for visits. Janice’s family all live within twenty minutes of us so we see them daily. Family is very important to us both. We enjoy getting together after church, birthdays and holidays. We often take vacations together as one big family.  Our families are so excited about our plans to adopt.
 
Our Home
We live in central New Mexico, near the mountains and a lake. Our home is located in a semi-rural area with a very short drive to the city. We have great walking and riding paths in our neighborhood and wonderful schools just down the road.

Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We have put together a wonderful nursery and look forward to sharing it with your child. Our property is fenced and ready for all kinds of outdoor fun.
