Dear Birthmother,
I want to thank you for considering adoption for your child and for considering me for the important role of parent for your child. Let me tell you a little about me so you can get to know me better.
About Me
When I found out a couple of years ago that I was not going to be able to have children I knew that God was leading me to adoption. I would describe myself as a good Christian woman who has good morals and a positive outlook on life. I have a good sense of humor and don’t let much bother me. I am outgoing and caring, compassionate and forgiving. I love to have fun, whether it is building a tent in the living room for camping inside or pitching a tent at one of our many local lakes for an outdoor camping trip, I always welcome adventure in my life.
My Family
I was raised in a Christian home by very loving parents; I am very close to my parents and visit their home in Montana as often as possible. They have a wonderful place out in the country that provides lots of places to hike and play. My brother and his family live close to me and I enjoy going to my niece and nephews sporting events. My brother coaches their sports and looks forward to someday coaching his niece or nephew. My sister and her family live in California and I enjoy traveling there to see her once in awhile. We enjoy spending our holidays together as a family. All of my family are very excited for me and can’t wait to add to our family.
As I said before I was raised in a Christian home and still maintain the values and morals I was taught. I am very active in my church and enjoy working with the children’s departments there. I was able to go to Christian schools for all twelve years and I want the same for my child. Education is important to me and I will ensure that your child has the best education possible.
My Career
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and have a great job as a healthcare consultant. I make good money and am financially secure. I am fortunate to have a job that allows me to work from home three days a week. I will have a nanny to care for my child while I am at work.
My Community
I live near a wonderful town in Washington. There are mountains to hike in as well as lakes to swim in close by. There are also many parks and biking trails nearby. It is a community that is very inviting to families. In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, skiing, camping, and all water sports. I love to take vacations, and look forward to taking my child to places I have been and going to places I have always wanted to go.
My Home
I live in a large three bedroom apartment in a neighborhood that is safe and quiet. My home is very cozy and inviting and I enjoy spending time reading, cooking and having friends over.
I have so much love in my heart and although I can’t promise to be the perfect parent I can promise that your child will always be loved. I will provide a secure and accepting home for your child to grow up to be the individual God wants them to be.
My Promise
Your child will always know that because of your love for them we were able to become a family. If your child is a different ethnicity than mine, I promise to embrace their culture and share with your child the world around them.
I am open to any kind of openness you desire and I will promise to send cards and letters frequently if that is your wish. I will always be there to love your child unconditionally and be the most caring and loving parent possible.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better. If chosen, I will welcome your baby with all the love in my heart. If you would like to learn more about me or wish to speak to me please contact Lifetime Adoption at 1-800-923-6784. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
