Dear Birthmother,

First, we would like to thank you for considering us to adopt your child.  We are Stacey and Jacqueline. 

We have been married for 10 years now and we are the best of friends and very committed to a long life with each other.  Due to infertility, we have not been able to have children biologically.  After trying fertility treatments without success, we decided to move forward with adoption as we had discussed years prior.  From the beginning of our marriage, we have always wanted to be parents.  We can’t wait to share all our love with a child.

About Us 
We are a couple that loves to do different but moderate things.  Some of our hobbies are spending time with family and friends, listening to music, reading books and spending time on the computer. We also like going out to eat and going to the movies.  We also participate in a variety of community services.

Stacey has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety.  Jacqueline has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master's degree in Social Work.  Stacey is a CEO of a non-profit youth agency. Jacqueline is a supervisor for Foster Care and Adoption Workers.  We are very big on the value of education.  We plan to provide for and encourage your child to attend college one day.
 
Jacqueline likes to sing and hang out with her mentee through Big Brothers and Big Sisters program.  She has also recently taken on scrapbooking as a hobby.  Stacey likes to read a lot and listen to music.  Stacey also likes helping people solve their problems.  He has also recently taken on working out.  He attends a community gym at least three times a week.

Our Home
We reside in Missouri and live in a large metro area on the west side of the state.  We live in a quiet mixed neighborhood of a variety of old and young families.  Our home is a three bedroom, two bath home with a finished basement and a huge backyard.  One of the bedrooms has been dedicated to a nursery for the baby.  We are ready to adopt!

We do not have any pets at this time but we plan to have a pet one day that we will pick out together as a family.

Our Families
Jacqueline has a large family that loves to get together on all the holidays.  Between our families we alternate holidays every year.  Both of our families are very supportive of us wanting to adopt.  We also have an abundance of friends that are very excited for us and supportive of us.  Stacey’s family is supportive as well.   There is adoption experience on Stacey’s side of the family. 

Our Faith
We are very strong in our faith.  We believe that God is the creator of all.  Any child in our home will be raised the same. 

We are both Deacons in our church and we participate in a lot of activities from the Children’s/Youth ministries to the Praise and Worship Team/Sound Ministry.
