Dear Birthmother,

We hope you know you’re already in our thoughts and we wish you peace with whatever decision you make.  We are excited to become parents and feel our backgrounds have provided us with all we have to offer your child. 

We’ve now been together as a couple for the last four years.   When we decided to get married we were both eager to start our lives together and start our family.  We both knew that there would always be a chance that we wouldn’t be able to conceive and agreed if that were the case God must have a different plan for us.  We both know in our hearts that adoption is how we will build our family and we are thrilled.

Family:
We come from very close knit, large Catholic families - they are of the utmost importance to us.  We are both fortunate to have had loving parents that are so amazingly supportive of us.  Vicky’s mom is thrilled to be a first-time grandma and Steve’s parents are delighted to welcome a new grandchild.  With aunts, uncles and family friends, it’s safe to say your child will certainly have the love and attention every child deserves!

Our Home:
Our home is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood in Northern California.  Tree lined streets with dozens of bike and hiking trails.  Our main street is within walking distance.  This is where holiday parades, weekly farmer’s market, and any other town activities are held.  Our neighborhood is also in the middle of an excellent school district with a private college just up the street.    

We have a 3,000 square foot home that sits on a half acre of land with lots of trees and squirrels and room to play. 

We also have a separate cottage just across our backyard, this is where Steve conducts his daily business.  Our home was meant to be filled with the joys of family and children. 

Vicky:
Vicky is simply the most loving, caring loyal and creative person I know.  She has many talents, most of them are normally hidden because speaking of herself and her talents would be the last thing she would do.  Vicky’s patience and dedication always comes out in the final product of whatever project she is working on.  She is also a great homemaker and cook, and loves all types of animals and has had a wide variety as pets.  Vicky prioritizes being a full-time mother and wife and sold her business to become a stay-at-home mom.  Vicky makes our house a home.   She has so much love to give, I know she will make your child think he or she is the most special and loved child in the world, I know because as her husband she makes me feel that way every day. 

Steve:
Extraordinary is how I would define Steve.  He is everything a man, husband and best friend should be.  Steve has an enormous heart that is always there for me and the people he loves.  He’s got the amazing ability to relate to others and the willingness to help those in need.  With his great fun-loving personality it’s very easy for Steve to put smiles on the faces of those around him.  He laughs at his own jokes and makes me laugh every day - he will forever be a kid at heart.  Steve has the ability to talk to younger or older children and always comes down to their level for them to have a better understanding.   Steve is an excellent golfer and plays a number of different sports.  Steve is extraordinary - he is my rock and the love of my life.  He is more than I could have ever wished for in a husband and I know he will be everything your child could wish for in a father. 

Our Promise:
