Dear Birthmother,

Hello! We really appreciate you taking time to read our letter. We hope this letter will assure you that we will be the best parents possible, and give you some peace and comfort about the life we can offer your child.

Our Life Together
We have been happily married for twenty-one years. We struggled with infertility and several miscarriages, until we were blessed with the adoption of our daughter three years ago. As far as parenting goes, WE LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! We love to have fun and are always laughing. We enjoy vacations to the beach in the summer and the mountains in the fall. We have a camper and we camp at bluegrass music festivals often; Terry plays guitar in a bluegrass band. We also love to have family and friends over for cookouts and swimming.

As parents, we’ll teach our child the importance of honesty, and acceptance of others. We will give our child abundant love, financial stability, good education, and a loving home. Our goal is to provide a home full of love, laughter, and fun. With this, we hope to raise a child who is happy, confident, and has a good self-image.

Meet my Husband, Terry
Terry is the most important person in my life. He is my anchor. Terry is the one person in the world that I can totally trust to stand by me, support me, and be there for me no matter what. Terry has a great sense of humor. He makes people laugh and everyone loves to be around him. He is a very kind, giving, and sweet person. I believe the love that Terry and I share is important in raising a healthy, loving child.

Terry owns his own construction company and is very successful. He loves his work! Owning his own company gives him a very flexible schedule. Terry is a wonderful father and he is looking forward to having another child to love.

Meet my Wife, Caroline
There are so many things I would like to tell you about Caroline! But, if I had to choose one characteristic of Caroline’s personality that makes her stand out, I would say that she is the most caring and loving person I have ever met. She always puts others’ feelings and needs first.

Caroline is a housewife and will be a stay-at-home mom. Caroline has taught Bible School for thirteen years. She is also an assistant to the cherub choir at our church. You can see her eyes light up whenever she is around the children.

Our Home
We built our tri-level home in a friendly, rural community in Alabama that is filled with young couples and children. We have a fenced back yard with an in-ground swimming pool. We have recently completed our pool house which is perfect for cookouts and birthday parties. We also own over one hundred acres of beautiful land behind our house where we enjoy walking our dogs to the creek.

Our Pets
All of our animals have been around children and they are gentle, loving, and playful. One of our dogs lives in the house with us. He is a Pomeranian named Roadie. Our other dogs are Shy, Buzz, and Woody. We have four cats: Snowbell, Tinkerbell, Silverbell, and Jinglebell.

Our Family
Our families are so excited about us adopting again, and Caroline’s family lives just seven miles from us. Caroline comes from a family that has a great sense of humor and is very outgoing. Terry’s family lives next door to us. It is wonderful to have Grandma and Grandpa right next door. Both sets of grandparents are looking forward to having a new grandchild. Terry comes from a family that is very caring and they also have a great sense of humor. Our entire family is looking forward to loving and raising another child in the family.

In Closing
We promise to love and take the greatest care of your child. We promise to provide a safe environment and a Christian education, bedtime stories, and lots of hugs and kisses. We will always be there to give all of our love and support to your child for the rest of our lives.
