Dear Birthmother,
God has blessed our marriage in many ways but none more precious than our four children. We are a big family and we LOVE it!! We adopted our youngest son over 4 years ago and can’t wait to adopt again.
We have been married 11 years and we make sure God is the center of our lives. We feel this is important to raising happy, well-adjusted children who are secure in themselves and their faith. By praying for each other, we know that God will keep our love alive and strong and use it to glorify Him.
Tom retired from the military this past summer and took a position working for the Federal Government. His position has a flexible schedule and it allows him to be very involved with the kids. At home he loves to challenge the kids at ping pong, air hockey, pool, and board games. He also loves to be in the great outdoors. He plans all the snowboard and ski trips for the whole family.
Michelle’s life revolves around family because she is a full time stay at home mother. In addition to caring for our children, Michelle does a lot of volunteer work, mainly at the kid’s private Christian school. She also loves amusement parks and started the tradition of having the kid’s first birthdays at Disneyland.
Motherhood is what her life is all about!
Our True Passion…Our Kids!
Promise is 10 and the artistic and creative child. She sings in school plays, performs on Dance Team, plays piano, and is a cheerleader. She wants to be a teacher and is awesome with little kids.
Trust is 4 ½. He is a smiley-faced ray of sunshine 24/7. He will love on anyone and his teachers adore him. He is very smart and a natural leader. He wants to be an Olympic runner when he grows up.
Jaylin is 14 and very outgoing and self-confident. She is student body representative, co-captain of her basketball team, president of CJSF, runs cross-country, and wants to go into politics.
Our oldest child, Sean, is 17. He does very well in school, runs track, works part time, is in ROTC, and wants to go to West Point next year. He is polite, a little shy, and loves his car.
Our family also loves to travel the world. We’ve visited 39 states and 7 countries. We introduce our children to different cultures and lifestyles so they’ll be more accepting of other people.
We enjoy having an open door for our children’s friends and have become known for our parties. Some themes have been: Amazing Race, High School Musical, Super Heroes, Camp outs, winter formals, Easter, and Valentine’s Day.
Our family’s favorite holiday is Christmas. Every year we take a family photo. We also make a Christmas family movie. Our winter ski and snowboarding trips make for great fun and memories.
Extended Families
Michelle comes from a large extended family. We enjoy visiting her mother in Malibu for pool parties. Every few years her father’s side of the family gets together for a vacation to places like Las Vegas, Disneyland, and Hawaii.
Tom’s family is smaller. He has one sister and two nephews. Our kids love to hang out and play with them. It’s nice when we visit his family because most of them still live in the same town he grew up in.
Our House & Neighborhood
We live in California and our home is very inviting. The walls are decorated with vacation pictures and family portraits. The “game room” has Air Hockey, Ping Pong, and a Pool Table.
We created an entertaining backyard with a detached patio, huge wooden swing set, two-story clubhouse, trampoline, basketball and volleyball courts. Our neighborhood is full of families with children.
What Makes Us Unique?
Our family is diverse in heritage, including Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic, Samoan, Hawaiian, African American, and East Indian. We all love and accept each other unconditionally. We want you to know that our love for all of our children is the same no matter what color, ethnicity, or background and we will embrace your child too.
