Dear Birthmother,

We are an active Christian couple who are excited to welcome another child into our loving home.  Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and the many blessings we want to share with your baby.

About Us
Married for five years, we have built an active life together.  We enjoy outdoor activities like biking, hiking, or just picnicking in the sunshine.  We love boating, waterskiing and camping.  We also enjoy relaxing at home spending quiet time with each other. 
           
We were blessed with a wonderful son, Luke, but have been unable to conceive again.  We feel strongly that God’s plan for us is to adopt a child and we are hopeful and excited about it.

Todd
Todd's quick wit and infectious laugh never cease to amaze me.  He is a talented guitar player who can compose a song on the spot to fit any occasion.  His song lyrics often keep us laughing.
           
With family his top priority, he is a dedicated husband and father. He is involved in every aspect of caring for Luke. 
           
Todd earned a Master’s degree in business administration. He works as an information technologist at a company a mile from our home, allowing him to share lunch with us each day.   A former college football player, Todd loves playing and watching all sports.  He enjoys teaching Luke how to throw a football and kick a soccer ball. 

Janeane
Outgoing and cheerful, Janeane makes people feel comfortable and cared about.  She's always smiling, making friends wherever she goes.   Janeane is very active, enjoying a daily swim, is an excellent cook and loves experimenting with new recipes and ethnic foods.
           
Janeane easily relates to children of all ages and creatively organizes games to include everyone.  She and Luke enjoy weekday outings, which include soccer games, a playgroup and visiting the library, the lake, and many area parks. 
           
Janeane's work as a physical therapist provides a flexible part-time schedule.  We are blessed that our parents care for Luke while Janeane works.

She gives her heart to our family and is looking forward to raising another baby.

Luke
Luke is a three-year-old charmer.  Articulate, healthy, and bright, Luke's favorite activities include playing music, dancing and singing.

He is fun loving, with curly hair and a smile that highlights his sunny disposition.  He is very excited to meet a new brother or sister.

Faith
We were both raised in loving Catholic families and enjoy taking our son to church each week.  We participate in the many children’s programs offered there.  Janeane sings in the choir. She founded and participates in a prayerful playgroup and a women’s bible study group.  Todd is active in the church's men’s group.  Our faith is deeply important to us and we hope to share that with our children.

Family
We both have large extended families and spending time with them is a big part of our lives.  Luke has a wonderful time with his 27 cousins, whom he refers to as his friends.  Strong holiday traditions with large festive meals make our family very close and they greatly support and anticipate our adoption of a child.

Our Home in Arkansas
Our home is newly remodeled and we love the beautiful, natural view from the back porch.  We enjoy many sunrises there.  We have a large back yard with lots of trees, a wooden swing set/slide/sandbox and a trampoline.   We live on a cul-de-sac in a neighborhood filled with children who love to gather there to ride bikes, play ball or serve cold drinks from their lemonade stands.
           
Our home is close to the many amenities of our city, including a family center with an indoor/outdoor water park and ice skating. Nearby are a fantastic library, several centers for the arts, a botanical garden and a large university. We enjoy the children’s programs offered at the state park not far from our home.
