Dear Birthmother,

Hello, we are Todd & Michelle.  Thank you for taking a moment to consider us as possible parents for your baby.  We love being parents and are thrilled to expand our family once again through adoption.  After the tragic loss of our first born infant son, we knew adoption would be a wonderful way to build our family.  In 2003, we were blessed with the adoption of our son Reese through Lifetime.  A year later, we were surprised by the birth of our son Chance. 

About Us…
We have been together for 14 years; blessed with a happy, loving and secure marriage for nine years.  We have learned from our parents, each married for over 40 years, that a strong marriage is the best foundation to build a family. 

We value “our” time as a couple; we enjoy movie nights, quiet dinners and traveling.  As a family we focus on fun, laughter and adventure whether we are on vacation, playing at the river, picnicking in the park or simply hanging around the house.  

About Todd by Michelle…
Todd is an amazing husband and father!  From the moment we met, I knew he would be the man I would love for a lifetime.  He is smart and works hard to provide a wonderful life for us.  He and his mother co-own a business, which allows him the freedom of a “family oriented” schedule. 

Todd is silly and fun; his antics have the boys rolling with laughter all the time.  Wherever Todd is, the boys want to be. 

Todd enjoys the outdoors and all the activities that go along with that: skiing, hiking, golf and dirt biking to name a few.

About Michelle by Todd…
My wife loves being a mommy more than anything.  She pours her heart and soul into the kids each and everyday.  She is funny, devoted and kind.  My favorite trait of Michelle’s is her smile; it personifies her sunny personality.     

Michelle is a stay-at-home mom; she plans to stay at home so that she can continue to volunteer in the kid’s classrooms and remain active in their extracurricular activities. 

When Michelle is not taking care of our family she enjoys reading, gardening, organic nutrition, Pilates & dinner with friends. 

Our Children…
Our boys are ecstatic about our plans to adopt again.   

Reese is our smiley and outgoing six year old.  Reese has never met a stranger and is friends with everyone he meets.  A few of Reese’s favorite things: books, skiing, dinosaurs & soccer.  We have an open and friendly relationship with Reese’s birth family.  They receive frequent photos & letters and have come to visit. 

Chance is our witty and affectionate five year old.  Chance is a loyal and loving friend.  A few of Chance’s favorite things: catching frogs, sledding, gymnastics and t-ball.

Our Values…
We both grew up in loving, supportive, close-knit families.  Every day we try to emulate this upbringing for our children.  We value education and learning, each new day brings an opportunity to explore and discover something new. 

Our family lives by the Golden Rule and our motto is “do the right thing.”  We live our days striving to honor God in the way we treat one another and those around us.  Family and faith are of utmost importance.    

Our Home and Community…
We live in a small town in Northern California, only a short drive to both the ocean and the mountains.  There are always many things to do and see.  Our three bedroom home is situated on two fenced acres with tons of trees and a fenced swimming pool. 

Our neighborhood is safe and quiet within walking distance of town and several parks.  We have a nursery ready and waiting to welcome a baby boy or girl.
