Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for your interest in us! We are a down-to-earth, active couple who can't wait to show a child the world and share our traditions with him or her. Even before we knew that we would face infertility problems, we hoped to adopt. Our commitment and love for each other has grown throughout this process. We can't wait to hold a baby in our arms and love him or her.

The Two of Us
We are constantly laughing and we enjoy each other's company. Doing everyday tasks, like grocery shopping, is fun when we're together. We have a blast going to hockey, baseball, and basketball games. We're both always up for trying new things. We are truly best friends.

We value God, family, education, nature, culture, and a healthy lifestyle. Traveling and meeting people from different cultures is important to us. We still keep in touch with friends that we've met in Aruba, Greece, Germany, Mexico, and France.

Raising a child is something that we have always dreamed of. We want to raise a confident, well-rounded, happy child who knows that they are loved deeply. Not only are our hearts ready to raise a child, but we are financially stable.

My Wife, Robin
Robin is without a doubt my better half. She is so generous with her love toward me and everyone she meets. Robin has the respect and admiration of her friends, family, and coworkers. Hilarious, affectionate, spontaneous, and loyal are just a few ways of describing my magnificent wife, Robin.

Robin keeps our home looking spectacular. She is creative and likes art. Several of her paintings hang throughout the house. Robin enjoys being outside tending to her gorgeous garden. She always cuts fresh flowers and brings them inside for us to enjoy.

Our nieces and nephews adore Robin and her willingness to spend time with them. She has gained a great deal of patience and learned a lot about children while being a third and fourth grade teacher for seven years. She can't wait to start reading to a baby and teaching him or her new things. There is no doubt that Robin will make a terrific mom.

My Husband, Todd
The first thing that people notice about Todd is his enthusiasm and dedication. Kids gravitate toward him because he is so fun and full of energy. If Todd says that he will do something, he follows through. When our friends need help, he is always happy to lend a hand.

Because Todd loves to try new things, he has accumulated many different hobbies. Search and rescue training with our dog is one of his hobbies that reflects his desire to help people. His profession (firefighter/paramedic) also reflects his desire to help others. He has even donated bone marrow to people that he has never met.

Todd will be the kind of dad that will take on an active role in your child's life. He always talks about bringing the baby with him on his adventures and providing them with as many opportunities as possible. I know that Todd will be an incredible dad!

Our Dogs
Norm and Lucy are both well-behaved and cuddly. Norman crawls into our laps every chance he gets. Lucy is being trained by Todd to find people that are missing in the mountains. We love coming home to their wagging tails!

Our Home
We live in a small historical town located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Everywhere you look you'll find people riding horses, biking, hiking, and running. Our neighborhood has a 40 acre park with trails, streams, picnic tables, and a playground. Our one-story home is on an acre of land. We have a vegetable garden and orchard along with tons of space for a child to play. The baby's nursery is ready to go and filled with books and handmade blankets.

Our Family
We are very blessed with loving and supportive families. Every Friday is Family Night at Grandma's where we eat dinner and play games with Robin's family. We make several trips to Southern California to see Todd's family. They are all very eager to welcome a new child into the family.
