Dear Birthmother,

We are an active family. We enjoy traveling to learn about other cultures, or to just sit back and relax. We enjoy boating, biking, hiking, skiing, flying and snowmobiling. Angie especially enjoys golf and Tom enjoys general aviation airplanes. We will share our interests with our children, while also encouraging whatever their individual interests and talents may be.

About Us
Our home sits on 10 acres, two miles from the city limits of a small town in Minnesota. Our land has been in Angie’s family for over 60 years. Our four bedroom, 3,200 square foot home provides plenty of space for toys, friends, family and adventure.

Our backyard has a playhouse and a wooden playset and the back five acres of our land are a grove of trees, full of adventure for growing kids. We have two dogs, Maggie and Zoe, and a kitten named Sophie.

We are close to both families and see a few of them on a daily basis. Our parents are very involved with all of their grandchildren and enjoy spoiling them at every opportunity .

Angie About Tom
Tom is laid back and easy going. He’s a great listener. He loves his family and enjoys spending time with them. He’s very close to his parents and all five of his brothers. Tom is involved in all aspects of parenthood. He has tremendous patience, but is also motivated to do well with anything he sets his mind to. He’s honest and genuine. He understands the importance of trust and dependability. Along with flying airplanes, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, old cars, boating, waterskiing, and downhill skiing.

Tom About Angie
Angie is genuine, caring, honest and down to earth. She loves being a mom, and does everything she can to be the best mom she can be. Working part time allows her to be home more with Jake, and they both love it.

Angie has her dad’s athleticism and her mom’s artistic talents. She’s an avid golfer and is frequently asked to be the wringer in varied golf tournaments. We have refurbished and remodeled three houses in the past five years, each in a different style. Her foresight, planning and organizational skills in these projects caused them to successful.

Lastly, we just enjoy each other’s company and work well together. She’s a great listener, gives good and honest advice and is a loyal friend.

Angie & Tom about Jake
We adopted Jake in 2006, when he was eight months old, and he’s now three and a half. He smiles all the time and loves to explore the world around him. His fun-loving, outgoing personality seems to always be “on”. He enjoys being outside and loves to run and jump, ride his tricycle, and play with the dogs. Jake is full of hugs and kisses and will be a great big brother. We LOVE being his parents and look forward to loving another child just as much!

Religion
We attend our local Catholic church as a family. Tom was raised Catholic and Angie was raised in a Lutheran faith. While we attend mass each week, we also feel it is important to teach our children about the Lutheran faith that Angie grew up with. Both our families instilled a strong Christian faith in us, and as parents we will pass along a strong foundation in faith as an important part of life. We will involve our children with religious educational opportunities through the church we belong to, and because we don’t believe our faith is all about Sunday attendance, we will incorporate our faith into all aspects of our children’s lives.

Our Promise
Most importantly, we promise to provide your baby with an unconditionally loving family. Please know that your child will be raised in a stable, happy home with lots of laughter and fun, a great education, strong morals and values. We will help your child to find his or her own talents, and allow him or her to be a unique individual. We will share with your child how they became a part of our family and how special you are to us.
