Adoptive parents, Tony and Kim

Dear Birthmother,

Hello! We are Kim and Tony. Adoption has blessed our lives already and we can't wait to have adoption bless our family once again.

About Us
We have known each other for twelve years and have been married for the last seven. We are both registered nurses and met each other while working in the intensive care unit of our local hospital.

Kim and Tony out on a hikeOur relationship is based on Christian faith, mutual trust and respect. Together we share a lot of common interests that include travel, water sports, fishing, hiking, movies and music. We also enjoy cooking out and entertaining for family and friends as well as family time in the evenings and on weekends.

Due to infertility we have not been able to have a family on our own. Kim was adopted, so it was a very natural choice for us to grow our family. Three years ago we had a life-changing event that made us fall in love all over again, this time with our adopted son Nicholas. We are anxious to share those feelings again with another child.

Kim is an incredible mother and family always comes first with herAbout Kim
Kim is beautiful, kind, witty, intelligent, and dependable, to name just a few of her characteristics. She excels in everything she attempts. She is a gourmet cook, loves gardening, travel, water sports, football, shopping for bargains and photography. Kim has a hospital management position and has a very flexible schedule.

Kim is an incredible mother and family always comes first with her. She provides Nicholas with everything he needs to develop and is active with fundraising events and projects at his school. Our kids will have a solid foundation for their futures because of Kim's dedication and devotion as a mom.

Tony is a fabulous dad and is still a kid at heartAbout Tony
Tony is my best friend. He is kindhearted, dependable and has an incredible sense of humor.

Tony works in the surgery department of one of our local hospitals. His many interests include fishing, building furniture, weight training, playing guitar, motorcycles, sports, and traveling. He is a fabulous dad and is still a kid at heart. He and Nicholas do lots of silly, goofy things together. Nicholas is beginning to develop a great sense of humor due to Tony's keen wit and practical jokes. He has a heart full of love and so many wonderful qualities to pass along to his children.

Nicholas is now beginning to learn about his adoption storyAbout Nicholas
Nicholas is an awesome kid. Not a day goes by that he doesn't do something to amaze us or make us laugh. He attends a private pre-school near our home and is busy learning letters, colors and numbers, studying about far-away places like Australia, and going on bear hunts.

Nicholas loves books, animals, and any game that involves a ball, but his favorite things are tickles and hugs. He is also quite a show-off and loves to sing Elvis. All of our family and friends adore Nicholas and are very involved in his life.

Nicholas is now beginning to learn about his special adoption story. We keep in touch with his birthmother through letters, pictures and video.

Our Families
We both have large extended families that will be thrilled to have another new addition to the family. Kim's mom lives in the same neighborhood and Tony's parents also live close by. We have a lake house where we spend endless summer days playing, swimming and boating. Our family also co-owns a condominium on the beach where we spend three weeks each year.

Home in AlabamaOur Home
We live in Alabama near a large city. Our home has four bedrooms and three and a half baths. There are many children that live in our neighborhood and every year there are seasonal and holiday activities. Nearby there is a children's museum, art and theater, an amusement park, as well as lakes, parks, and a zoo. We have a large fenced-in back yard with a huge sand box, play set and lots of room for Nicholas and our Great Dane, Dorsey to run and play.

Tony and Kim are excited to adopt again! Our Promise to You
We strive to live our lives honestly, morally and as Christians, to live by example for our children.
