Adoptive parents, Tony & Libby

Dear Birthmother,

We appreciate you taking the time to consider us as adoptive parents to your child. After unsuccessful infertility treatments and several pregnancy losses we decided adoption is our destined path to parenthood.

About Us
We are in our late 20's and looking forward to becoming first time parents. We live in Northern California in the suburbs of a major city, Tony and Libby visiting the Golden Gate Bridgewalking distance to parks and the library and a short drive to the beach.

We are truly best friends and enjoy spending time together. We also love entertaining; Libby bakes and Tony barbeques. We enjoy walks after dinner-that occasionally turn into races! We like board games, watching a hockey or football game, hiking, or just spending quiet time together at home. When we can't decide what show to watch or where to go for dinner we have found a game of 'Ro Sham Bo' to be the perfect solution!

My Husband Tony
Tony is my dream come true; I still get excited every time he calls to say he is coming home from work. He enjoys golfing, watching NASCAR, Tony challenged to a game of ping-pongfootball and hockey, hiking and keeping those around him happy. He is playful, silly and enjoys being outdoors and active.

Tony is such a good uncle; our nieces run up to him to make him laugh, and our nephews challenge him to a game of ping-pong. He is gentle, patient, and hardworking in all areas of his life-I know fatherhood will be no different.

My Wife Libby
I love that Libby brings out the best in everyone, not just me. She makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world. She has worked with children of all ages from Libby enjoying a game of soccercamp counselor to teaching PE for the past 6 years, but she is ready to become a stay-at-home mom.

Libby loves to go running with our dog Daisy, workout in the gym, cook an amazing meal, and snuggle up to watch a movie. She is passionate with everything she does and will put the same passion into raising a child. Libby has proven to be the best wife a man could ask for and I can't wait to raise a family with her!

Libby and Daisy on a hikeIntroducing Daisy
Our dog is a Boxer, named Daisy, who is a great family pet. She is the perfect companion during Libby's runs, and keeps Tony company as his NASCAR watching buddy. We chose a Boxer because they are known for being good with small children, Daisy is no exception.

Our Family
Much of our free time is spent with Libby's family who all live locally. Libby has five older siblings, who are all married with children. We have 15 nephews and nieces! Libby also has a younger brother and sister, who were adopted four years ago from Russia.

Tony's family lives a few hours away and we visit with them as often as possible. When we are together we enjoy dining out and going to the local zoo or amusement park. They are anxiously awaiting the first in the next generation!

Everyone on a family vacation in HawaiiHolidays are filled with food, laughter, games and lots of cousins. We love attending the children's Little League and soccer games. Our entire family is very excited to welcome another child into their hearts (especially our nieces and nephews)!

Adoption in Our Lives
While we were dating adoption touched our lives. Libby's parents decided to adopt two children from Russia. Libby was lucky enough to go to Russia with her parents when they adopted her sister, Nastia and brother, Sergei. This experience is a cherished memory.

After Nastia and Sergei were welcomed to our family, Libby went on to work with the program that united Libby's parents with her younger brother and sister. Libby has loved running the camp programs which unite children with their adoptive parents. Throughout these camps we have witnessed again and again the miracle of family building through adoption.

Now as husband and wife we are touched again through the hope of becoming the adoptive parents to your child.

Tony and Libby are exicted to adopt! In Closing
We are so ready to take the next step and become parents. We promise to hug and play, teach and learn, but most importantly we will love each other and our child.

If you are interested, we would promise to keep in lifelong contact, we are open to as much or as little communication as you would like. We believe that the relationship we are beginning through adoption is unique and we want to help it grow.
