Adoptive parents, Tony and Missy

Dear Birthmother,

We met and fell in love as teenagers. After four and a half years of dating, we were married and started dreaming of a family. Eight years of infertility and one miscarriage has only strengthened our commitment to each other and our dream of a family.

We feel God has led us to adoption to make our dreams come true. We have already been blessed with the adoption of our son and are looking forward to our next miracle. Tony is an awesome father!

About Tony…
After we had been dating for a few months we were outside looking at the stars, when we saw a falling star. He told me to “make a wish.” My wish came true when he asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes! Even after almost 15 years together and 10 years of marriage, our love continues to strengthen and he is still my best friend.

Tony has volunteered at the local fire department for the past 18 years. He loves being around people and works as a manager of a sporting goods store. He loves the outdoors (fishing, golfing, camping, softball, and cook-outs).

Tony is an awesome father, and amazes me every day with our son, Hudson. He loves to read books to him, play ball, and take him outside. Tony loves being a father and is ready for another child to love!

Missy's favorite form of exercise is yogaAbout Missy…
Missy is the most remarkable woman I have ever known. From the first time I saw her, I was hooked! I love how her smile lights up a room. She is a wonderful wife, mother, and my best friend.

Missy’s love for children helped her choose her career as a registered nurse. She has worked on the pediatric floor of our local community hospital for the past eleven years.

Hudson and I are the luckiest guys in the world to have someone so compassionate, understanding, and strong. Each day I see her grow as a person, wife, and mother, and I cannot wait to see her grow as our family grows. Hudson is an energetic, outgoing, and loving child and will make a great big brother!

About Hudson by
Mommy and Daddy…
In 2005, Hudson was lovingly placed in our arms and hearts the day he was born through an open adoption. We thank God each day for Hudson’s birthmother and the joy she has brought to our lives and all the lives around us.

Hudson is an energetic, outgoing, and loving child. He enjoys music, the outdoors, swimming, and having books read to him. One of our favorite times with Hudson is each night when he says his bedtime prayer.

Hudson loves playing with other children of all ages, and we know he will make a great big brother.

Tony and Missy's home in West VirginiaOur Home and Neighborhood…
Our four bedroom cottage style home in West Virginia is surrounded by beautiful mountains. We live in a small community subdivision where there are lots of children. Nearby there are many fun places to visit including a zoo, the state fair, a ski resort, and many state parks.

We Love Our Family and Friends…
We are very blessed with close families and friends. We were both raised in Christian homes and were taught many important values. Both our parents are still happily married for over 30 years. We have learned from our parents about the commitment of marriage and raising happy families. We are glad we live near both of our parents, so they can play an active role in our children’s lives. Tony and Missy's pets are friendly to children

Our Furry Pals…
We have two wonderful pets: a tabby cat named Abbey, and a border collie mix dog named Ashes. Abbey and Ashes play together and are friendly around children.
