Adoptive parents, Tony and Vicki

Dear Birthmother,

Hello, our names are Tony and Vicki. We are a fun, loving, Christian family. We have been married for five years. We plan to offer your child love, laughter, and Christian values. Your child will be treasured by a stay at home mom, devoted dad and eager big brother.

Vicki adopted Tony's son JermiyaAbout Us
We met in high school, dated for a few years, then went our own ways after Vicki graduated. Remaining friends, we realized after six years apart that our friendship was much more and married. Tony's son Jermiya has always lived with us and in 2006 Vicki was blessed to be able to adopt him. Vicki and Jermiya's birthmom stay in contact with letters, pictures, email and phone calls.

As a family, we enjoy going to local events like baseball and hockey. Saturday morning you will often find us at a farmers market. We like to go to the zoo, the lake (which is three miles from our home) and any local festivals. In the summer the house is often full of people over for a day of playing and barbecuing. In the winter we enjoy playing in the snow and having family game days.

As a couple, we like to go out to a quiet dinner while Jermiya is spending time with his grandma and poppa.

Our attempts to conceive a child have resulted in five pregnancy losses. We feel that adoption is the way to grow our family.

Tony is a dedicated father and husband. He never fails to put us ahead of himself. Tony has always been drawn to children. He is a very involved dad that can be found helping out at baseball games and playing with Jermiya and the other neighbor kids out front. At church he is the one who gets all the kids together for some kind of game. Tony is a HUGE fan of the Steelers. He also enjoys Roman and World War Two history. When the weather is nice he can be found out working in our garden. Tony works for a small, family-run company that supplies Idaho with school books.

Vicki is social, outgoing and a natural mom. She has so much patience with Jermiya and the other kids that come over. Vicki is active in our church. She leads a women's Bible study in our home every week. She is a great cook, I love to come home from work and smell the meal she has for us.

Her other hobbies include reading, knitting, and gardening.  Vicki also collects Winnie the Pooh and cookbooks. Vicki is a great mom. We are blessed that she can stay home with the kids.

Jermiya is excited to be a big brother!About Jermiya, by Dad and Mom
Jermiya is an energetic ten year old. He loves to play baseball, ride his bike, go fishing with his poppa and play outside with the kids in the neighborhood. He has told us recently that he wants to fly planes when he grows up.

Jermiya is very excited to be a big brother. He wants to teach your child so many things. He is really looking forward to being able to read to your baby each night.

Family and Friends
We are both very close to our families. Vicki's parents live five minutes away and we see them a few times a week. We have Sunday dinners with them at least twice a month. Tony's family lives in California; we try to make it out there once a year. His parents come out to Idaho to see us once or twice a year. We stay close to them with lots of phone calls and letters.

Tony and Vicki's home in IdahoWe have many close friends that we get together with for play dates and dinners. In the summer we try to plan our vacation with our long distance friends in California. We will meet halfway to go camping or we pick one house to go to.

Our family and friends are eagerly awaiting, along with us, the arrival of a new baby to love.
