Dear Birthmother,

Hello!  Thank you for taking the time to consider our family.  We have always dreamed about raising a large family and we are excited to be growing it through adoption.  We would love to adopt a boy or girl of any race and we promise to cherish him or her as part of our family.  

About Travis
Travis is a wonderful father and a natural leader who people love to be around.  Travis is spontaneous, outgoing and social.  He has a way of making people feel comfortable and relaxed.  He goes out of his way to help other people in need by showing them kindness.  He is loyal and a friend to everyone. 

Travis loves slow-cooking brisket, ribs and pork BBQ on the smoker and inviting friends and family over for social gatherings.  He is an officer and a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, and is passionate about keeping family a priority.  Travis is a devoted husband and father and enjoys teaching our children how to ride their bikes, taking them on camping trips, and making every day of our lives an adventure. 

About Sheril
Before we had children, Sheril followed her dream to become a pediatrician.  The most important thing in her life now is her family and together we decided to put aside her career to be a full-time stay-at-home-mom.  She is nurturing and intelligent, which helps make her a great mom.

Sheril likes to knit, crochet and curl up on the couch with a good book.  Her days are full with home schooling, baking bread from freshly ground wheat, teaching the kids to garden and reading stories to them.  Her new career as a mom is absolutely the most satisfying work she could ever do.  She knows this has always been God’s plan for her life.

Our Children
Megan is a thoughtful eight year old girl who loves art and wants to be an artist.  She enjoys riding her bike, playing at the park with her friends, crocheting, knitting and playing the piano. 

Logan is an active six year old who loves Transformers, Spiderman and Star Wars.  He enjoys riding his scooter and playing basketball with his friends. 

Erika is an adventurous five year old who loves to play with her Webkinz stuffed animals.  She enjoys playing on the merry-go-round with her friends and riding her bike. 

All three children pray every night that God will give them a new brother or sister soon.

Our Home
Travis’ career in the Air Force has allowed us to live all over the country.  We are currently living near our nation’s capital.  Our house is located next to a beautiful river.  The view from our yard is spectacular.  Sitting on our front lawn, we can see many national monuments and airplanes taking off and landing at the airport across the river. 

We live in a safe, kid-friendly community where our kids can ride their bikes and play with their many friends.  We are within walking distance to a swimming pool, bowling alley, a trail along the river and many parks with playgrounds. 

Weekends are when we explore the cities around us.  We are surrounded with our nation’s history and our family is soaking it all in.
We have a dog and a cat that have been part of our family for years. 

Our Extended Family
Both of our families live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  Our family is very important to us and we love to visit “home” whenever we get the chance.  Our families are anxious for us to add to our family through adoption.

Religion
Our faith is central to everything we do.  We believe our marriage has remained strong because of our faith in God.  We attend church on a weekly basis and incorporate our Christian faith and beliefs into everything  we do as a family.
