Dear Birthmother,

Hello!!!

We are eager to add another adopted child into our home. We pray you are at peace. The gift of adoption you are considering for your child is the ultimate gift of a mother’s love who knows she can make her child’s future secure.

We will always tell your child how much you love him/her and it was out of this extreme love you chose us to parent your child.

We choose to create our family through adoption. God has blessed us with a beautiful family and we want to share our blessings with another child. We experienced another example of God’s greatness when we adopted our son in 2004 and met our son’s life mother! We are very excited about welcoming another child into our family.

Your child will stay at home and not be in daycare. Your child will benefit from a stay at home mom or dad, or both, depending on the days we work, until your child seems ready and eager to begin a more formal education and socialization outside of our home. We enjoy traveling, museums, theatre, neighborhood BBQs, Florida beach hopping, amusement parks, the zoo and relaxing at home.

About Victor from Mary
Victor is an amazing, caring, generous and loving person. My prayers were answered when Victor came into my life. Victor has a Bachelor’s degree in Science. The accomplishments African Americans have achieved are Victor’s favorite conversational topic.

Victor is a non-denominational Christian and his hobbies include history and reading. Victor’s musical interests are jazz, R&B, soft rock and contemporary Christian music.

About Mary from Victor
I have been blessed with Mary in my life. She is a wonderful, loving, caring and devoted wife and mommy. Sharing our home together has brought me such joy, and I know how excited she will be when she is to share her love with another child. Mary is my friend, my love, my future. Mary’s education is a Bachelors degree in business and an Associates degree in Nursing. Mary’s passion is her family, she also loves being a registered nurse. Mary is an Irish American Christian who loves the Lord’s scripture and lives her life by God’s Word. Mary’s hobbies include swimming, reading and home making.

About Our Son, Liam
We have an open adoption with Liam’s birth mother and her family. We are very fortunate to have Liam’s biological family to be part of our family.

About our Home and Faith
We are a Christian family and God sits in the hearth of our home and hearts. We had our home built in 2005 when we knew we were going to welcome another child into our life. We decided to create a child friendly house with extra room for friends, so we can be constantly involved in the lives of our children. Every detail put into designing our home was to create an environment of love and security for our children to assist them into developing into self assured adults.

Our Community
We are very active in our community with friends and family. The diverse community our home was built in is a gated and beautiful neighborhood. The community offers a wonderful park, community swimming pool, sand volleyball courts, soccer fields, a baseball field, a basketball court, tennis courts and a roller skating park. The streets are lined with trees and the homes are filled with the diversity of people we want our children to embrace and love. There are many children on our block alone. Our neighborhood has many family activities.

Our Promise to You
We are dedicated to raising happy, loving, caring and healthy children. We attended classes and became educated in the joys and challenges of being a bi-racial couple with adopted children. We hope you have gotten a sense of the abundance of love and security with which your child will be loved, cherished and protected. We promise your child will be raised knowing you made a loving choice. We are committed to offering your child a life of unconditional love and constant nurturing. With every fiber in our body we will unconditionally love, cherish and protect your child. Your child will receive the same rounded cultural experiences of learning music, art, diversity and foreign language as our son is receiving. We are open to entire family visits, photos, videos, a private website and letters. If you prefer less openness we will respect your decision. Thank you for reading our letter.
