Providing the Support You Need In Choosing Your Child's Future Help and Support for Pregnant Women

Adoptive parents, Wesley and Mary Ann.

Dear Birthmother,

We are Wesley and Mary Ann. We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to introduce ourselves. We are a Christian married couple with a strong faith, and marriage. After four years of marriage we discovered we were unable to conceive. We immediately knew adoption was a wonderful choice for our family to grow. We had the wonderful privilege to adopt our daughter Sarah in June of 2003. Our lives have been overflowing with so much joy and happiness. We are thankful for your consideration of our family to raise your precious little miracle.

Mary Ann and Sarah hanging out.About Us
We met through a Christian, singles Internet site. Wesley was in Alaska, and Mary Ann in Wyoming. Through many e-mail messages, telephone calls and visits, we were married a year and a half after our first e-mail message.

The peaceful, quiet setting of our country home is what we both enjoy a lot. Going for long walks or bike rides are ways we love to spend time together. We also like to travel and much of our traveling is spent visiting friends and family throughout the United States. We enjoy helping with special programs at church and sing in the church choir. Wesley is an elder in the church and has helped teach bible studies. Mary Ann helps with children's Sunday school classes. Wesley has also helped out at a local Christian radio station.

Mary Ann loves crafts.About Mary Ann
Mary Ann is the most compassionate person I know. The love and caring she has for others is one of the reasons I married her. She is my inspiration and the unconditional love she gives me brings so much joy to my life.

Mary Ann went to nurses training and has worked as a Registered Nurse until about a year before we adopted our daughter Sarah. Mary Ann is very intelligent, and loves to read and learn new things. As a wife and mother, she is very kind, loving, and very attentive. She is a stay at home mom and loves it. Mary Ann spends a lot of her time keeping our daughter Sarah occupied, which she enjoys immensely and looks forward to having additional children to captivate her time. She enjoys being creative with crafts and sewing and also likes cooking and baking for friends and family, especially during holidays. Mary Ann enjoys spending her day playing with Sarah and does an excellent job making our house a warm and comfortable home.

Wesley with one of his favorite hobbies.About Wesley
Wesley is very fun-loving, laughs a lot, and is a joy to be around. As a husband and daddy, he is very supportive, caring, and gives so much love to his family. Wesley's family is first in his life. Wesley has worked as a postal clerk for the past several years. He enjoys photography and especially video editing. He almost always has a digital camera and video camera handy to catch those special or unexpected moments. He publishes a family web page with many updated pictures for family and friends. Wesley has also been to trade school for construction and enjoys building projects, from kitchen cabinets to saunas.

Sarah and dad on Christmas day.Our Daughter Sarah
Sarah was adopted at 15 months old, from an orphanage in Kazakhstan. We traveled to the other side of the world to adopt her. Sarah has filled our lives with so much love and has been a wonderful blessing from God. I can't imagine ever being without her. She likes playing and being around other children.

Our Home
Home in Alaska. We live in the beautiful State of Alaska. We have a three bedroom, two bath home in the countryside. The living room is large with plenty of room for children to play. There are large windows in the house to admire the visits of the local wildlife which include moose, caribou, rabbits, and many species of birds. The house is surrounded by Evergreen trees on two acres of land. We are within walking distance to the river and a park.

Mary Ann and Wesley are thankful for all of their blessings. In Closing
