Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us as you search for the right family for your child.  In trying to start our family we have experienced four miscarriages. We’ve looked forward to becoming parents and now we believe our path all along was to build our family through adoption. We are extremely excited and ready to be first-time parents and invite you to learn more about us and the wonderful, exciting life we can offer your child.

About Us:
We met at a local television station.  Lisa was an intern on a morning news show and Weston was an employee working as a photographer.   After three years of dating we married and will celebrate our fourth anniversary this year. 

Even before we were married, we looked forward to becoming parents.  In our own way, we’ve prepared ourselves for parenthood and created a kid-friendly lifestyle.  We enjoy entertaining guests, having dinner parties, and hosting game nights. Our friends’ kids are always welcome.

We take our two dogs hiking in the mountains nearby.  They are a huge hit with our niece, nephews, and friends’ children!  We enjoy road trips throughout Arizona and California. We traveled to Puerto Vallarta, where we swam with the dolphins and took an adventure on the zip line.  Our annual trip to Rocky Point with friends is an enjoyable week filled with relaxation and fun.  We also plan on going to Italy to visit Lisa’s extended family and look forward to planning trips and fun activities as a family with your child.

Weston is my rock.  I can’t imagine my world without him.  I knew from the moment that I met him that I wanted to marry him and raise a family together.  Honestly, I have never met someone so unselfish in my life.  Weston has the purest heart.

He is always willing to help others and goes out of his way to be there for a friend or family member in need.  He loves spending time with our niece and nephews and teaches them exciting things about photography, video production, and cars. 

He works on vintage trucks, enjoys boating and camping, and keeps our backyard looking beautiful.  Weston is a photographer/editor.  He shoots and edits commercials for high end and local clients seen on television every day and even has three Emmy nominations under his belt!

Lisa is my heart, the voice in my head.  She allows me to be a better person just for knowing her.  Lisa is the most loving caring person I know. Whenever our families get together, she spends most of her time playing with my nieces and nephews. When the chance to baby-sit comes up, she’s the first to volunteer for the opportunity.

Lisa loves to be outdoors; taking walks with our dogs. She has taken up baking and gardening, so there are always goodies floating around! Lisa volunteers at the local children’s hospital and the Ronald McDonald house.  She works from home as a media buyer placing commercials for retailers all across the country.  Her flexible schedule will give her more time to be with the child we adopt.

Our Home and Family:
We live in a quiet neighborhood in a new community in Arizona.  Our house is located in a cul-de-sac with a view of the park and the local elementary school.  We can’t wait for the day we bring our little miracle home.  Family and friends live nearby.  Weston’s brother, wife, and their six month old son live down the street. His cousin, her husband and son, live within walking distance.  A supportive network of family and friends are just a hop, skip, and a jump away. 

Our Promise to You:
We promise to love your child with all of our hearts.  We will show your child what it means to respect and cherish all of the wonderful things life has to offer.  He or she will learn to be a good person, make smart decisions, and be caring and good hearted. Your child will grow up knowing that God had a plan for all of us and that through adoption we’ve been brought together as a family.

We are open to whatever level of communication you feel comfortable with and are happy to send letters and photos at your request.  Your child will always know how special you are to our family.
